Hi everyone! Thank you all for the birthday wishes yesterday. I didn’t want to hurt Penny’s feelings so I told her I was allergic to cat food and I let her enjoy the “cake”. Please don’t tell her that I fibbed. 🙂

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. I had 3 cakes for my birthday.  Every July I look forward to going to 2 book sales that I love, but they were canceled this year so I turned to cake.
My hubby got me my favorite strawberry cake last weekend.
My niece and her kids ( The Great One and her little sister) made me this kitty cake
And my mom got me this festive one
We also had birthday cake ice cream with them.
2. I hate surprises. Unless it is a cat in my yard for me to adopt.
3. Reading and spending time with my cats is my idea of fun.
4. If I were a food, I would be a watermelon- round and sweet.

  2. 1. I had a bag of veggies, a meat/jerky stick and a bag of cherries form lunch at work this past evening.
    2. I mostly do not care for surprises, though some can be rather fun…
    3. Getting to answer all the blogs at one siting while having may fave music playing is my idea of fun….though romping with the hooligans or cuddling Pipo are great fun too.
    4. If I were a food, I would be a salad, I am so many different flavors and moods and have so many different interests!

    I am with you on surprises. If it is a bad one I could do without it. If it is a good one I would rather be prepared.

  21. The more cakes the merrier! Surely that’s how the saying is really supposed to go. And I completely agree with your #3. Kitties and a good book make for the best kind of fun. And Angel Stinky is precious! Purrs!

  28. hahaha…loved your fill ins. I agree with them all but do have my own version which are listed below

    1. I had ..SHOKO…for…..A WAKE UP CALL THIS MORNING AT 4AM. I felt a tap tap on my shoulder, then a whisker in my ear followed by MEW MEW. Needless to say, I rolled over and covered my head.

    2. I…..LOVE….surprises. They are always good. The opposite of surprises is SHOCKS and we hate those.

    3. TALKING, PLAYING AND WALKING DOWN THE LANE WITH MY FURRIES…. is my idea of fun. A laugh and chatter with Shoko is worth buckets of money to me. Tyebe never listens and Budd’s too busy looking for some food on me.

    4. If I were a food, I would be…..BEANS. I’d give everyone gas so they’d remember I was here.
