2. I can see _______outside my ___________ window.

3. _________ always puts me in a festive mood.
4. My favorite holiday tradition is _________.
My answers:
1. I look forward to seeing several cousins at the holidays.
2. I can see SNOW outside ALL my windows. We ended up with a total of 21 inches over 2 days earlier this week. I love snow, but not is such big batches 🙂
3. Listening to Christmas music always puts me in a festive mood.
4. My favorite holiday tradition is our annual Christmas Eve open house. Although we have to do it on the 23rd every other year now.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

This Sunday we will be showing part 1 of our letters to Santa. Here are some from past years.
Poor Angel Stinky always asked for a new name.
Angel Phoebe was very worried about Santa’s reindeer running over her beloved Grammie so she asked him to teach them how to drive. She also added a PS for some treats.
I still can’t add the code so please visit my co-host to add your link.

  1. Those are lovely flashbacks of the Angels letters to Santa.
That was a lot of snow that you had! We rarely get it here although it has been forecast for this winter. After getting a foot in 3 hours when we were in the Arctic Circle, I really hope we get some this year.

  2. Oh I’m sure that Santa would NEVER run over your Grandma Angel Phoebe so don’t you worry about THAT! Love your fill-ins….we sometimes wish we had family enough that we could host a party for everyone but there are too few and they are too far away…………..We will link up with Four-Legged-Furballs today….hope your problem with the link up will get fixed!

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom too

  3. Santa never ran over anyone, but i think he has a great sense of humor and laughs about that silly song.

Your Christmas Eve party sounds wonderful, and i always enjoy the letters to Santa that your precious kitties write.

  4. That’s a whole lot of snow Ellen! Ditto on listening to Christmas music. A Christmas Eve Open House sounds festive and delightful! Santa’s reindeer would never run over Grammie… that’s why Rudolph has his “light the way red nose.”
    My Fill-Ins…
    1. I look forward to seeing the twinkly lights on the palms downtown Venice at the holidays.
    2. I can see dancing palms outside ALL my windows.
    3. Listening to Chris Standring and Kathrin Schorr together with their new Christmas tunes always puts me in a festive mood.
    4. My favorite holiday tradition is my Mom’s ceramic lighted Christmas tree that she made for us the first year we were married. AND homemade noodles!

    1. Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I have not heard of those singers in #3, I will check them out. I love Christmas music. I am glad you have the tree your mom got you. I would love to have homemade noodle. Have a nice weekend. XO

  5. Yup, Stinky isn’t the most flattering of names. BUT I’m sure Santa Claws called him, like…Gabriel or something like it.

Mommy just said she’s had enough of visi-taters here at the House of Katie. No open house at least for now.

  6. Meowser Ms. Ellen! Good answers and you’re super rich if you have that much snow! Oh, the fun you must be having!!!
Thank you for co-hosting this blog hop,
    Purrseidon

  7. I love your answers, Ellen. We don’t get that much snow in my neck of the woods but every once in a while nature likes to have her fun with us. I love Christmas music too as it puts me in a festive mood.

  8. Love all the fill-ins. Love the angel letters to Santa too. What a precious memory.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  9. Wow that’s a lot of snow! We just moved from NY to Florida and it’s kind of weird seeing sun shining and warm temps this time of year. Hope you have a great weekend!

  10. WOW! that is a lot of snow here in London we only have an inch of snow and the whole place comes to a standstill LOL

    LOL @ Angel Stinky 🙂

    Have a snowytastic weekend 🙂

  11. I would lose it if we had that much in such a short span…we had over 5 feet a few back but that was over the season… !!!

  12. It’s fun to look back over the years. Those are cute photos:) That is too much snow. We had snow last night. I don’t like a lot of snow, but I have a feeling this is going to be a bad winter.

  13. I knew you got a lot of snow down your way! As I told my friend down there, we only got 4 inches up here (sorry, don’t mean to rub it in)! 🙂

  14. We think Angel Stinky and Angel Phoebe ‘s letters to Santa are very appropriate. We hope Santa listened.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  15. It sounds like it must really look like Christmas at your place, Ellen, but 21 inches is too much this early in the season. Christmas Carols seems to be the answer for most when it comes to getting in a festive mood. Can’t wait for the letters to Santa. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

    1. It does look like Christmas, but now the ground is too covered to get our outdoor lights up. XO

  16. Fun answers! I also don’t like when snow comes down in such a load. Very hard to deal with. I really enjoy Christmas music. Makes the holidays that much more festive!

  17. I always enjoy hearing about your Christmas Eve open house. It sounds like such a fun and festive tradition. I also always enjoy your kitties’ letters to Santa. I remember Stinky’s requests for a new name, but I also think her name was purrfectly unique. Purrs!
