2. I will pass on the turnip on Thanksgiving.
3. I wish pizza was served at holiday gatherings. I would prefer that to a turkey meal.

  1. PIZZA rather than turkey??? Bite your tongue. MOL! TW’s fave part of the dinner is the homemade stuffings although they’re a lot of work to make especially for 2 people. I don’t eat them.

  2. Loved the fillins! TBT’s are:

    1. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into a smoked turkey thigh on Thanksgiving.

    2. I will pass on vegetables in jello on Thanksgiving.

    3. I wish lobster was served at holiday gatherings.

    4. I will always be thankful for learning to cook.

    1. Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I would pass on veggies in jello too- yuck! I ahve never had lobster. And I agree it is good to know how to cook. Although, I was a lot thinner when I didn’t know how. 🙂

  3. I do not find your blog ‘a silly little’ at all, I love reading it and it brightens up my day to see your kitties and sometimes others…
    1. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into some yummy pumpkin pie with whipped cream on Thanksgiving.

    2. I will pass on a lot of the other carb/sugar/fat bombs on Thanksgiving. And of course I have to pass on any wine or other of the adult beverages as I have to work…

    3. I wish more smiles and hugs are served at holiday gatherings.
    4. I will always be thankful for my faith, my health, my family, and of course all my blogging friends.

    1. Thank you for the compliments on my blog. I enjoy your blog to. And thank you for these great fill-in answers. I am glad you will be able to enjoy pumpkin pie and whipped cream. I agree on #3 and wonderful thankfuls. I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving even though you have to work. XO

  4. Your blog isn’t silly! We love reading it 🙂

Must apologize for missing Friendly Fill-Ins this week. We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in England so wouldn’t have known what replies to give.

    Purrs xx

    1. Thank you for your kind words about the blog. I enjoy yours too. And I am sorry I didn’t take international readers into consideration on the fill-ins. XO

  5. Very festive looking kitties – they always seem to enjoy wearing their costume bits and pieces! Pizza would be nice for Thanksgiving – although I have to admit, I am a turkey fan. My favorite thing though is the stuffing. There is NOTHING silly about your blog either – it’s fun, supportive, entertaining, AND educational!!

    Hugs, Pam

    1. Thank you. I am blessed my kitties are so cooperative. ANd thank you for the compliments on the blog- I enjoy yours too. XO

  6. 1) Pumpkin Pie
    2) The cranberry goop
    3) chocolate chip cookies
    4) your silly little blog that makes me happy every day
that I can read it and sad on the days when I can’t like
yesterday when you were having technical issues …..so thank you 🙂

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I am making a pumpkin cheesecake, I wonder if you would like that or prefer the pie. I am not a fan of the goop, I like dried cranberries though. And yes on the cookies. Thank you for your kind words about my blog. XO

  7. Oh I’d love pizza for Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately nobody else here feels that way. Have a great weekend and Happy Thanksgiving!

  8. I think you can have whatever you want to eat on Thanksgiving. We gave up the traditional meal long ago. It’s a good thing. I love your answers.

Aw on the kitties all dressed up for Thanksgiving.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins. I enjoy participating.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Big hug. ♥

  9. Great Friendly Fill-Ins Friends
    1. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into “The White Meat Turkey” (Dad loves this with Gravy) on Thanksgiving.
    2. I will pass on “Cranberry Sauce” (Ugh) on Thanksgiving.

    3. I wish “Hot Chocolate” (It is at our house) was served at holiday gatherings.

    4. I will always be thankful for “My Furs and My Friends”.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I prefer the white meat too. And yes on the hot cocoa. Have a nice weekend. XO

  10. Honestly, how do you get your fur babies to agree to wear hats?! Amazing. And, I love your *silly, little blog*! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. xoxo

  11. Your blog is anything but silly, and so many people like visiting!
Pizza would be a welcome change to some of the more traditional dishes, I agree.
    Have a wonderful Feline Friday!

  12. We can’t wait to sink our teeth into some tasty turkey – Mom doesn’t let us have a lot at one time, but even a few tastes is pawesome!!!

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  13. “Silly little blog” HARDLY!
I admit … I’d prefer pizza too. The only reason I go along with the turkey thing is for the stuffing and sweet potatoes (did I mention that I love carbs? and my value-sized body proves it!).

  14. Gosh, I love every part of the Thanksgiving meal, and I don’t think I could pick a favorite, or pass on anything! LOL. Unless there was whole cranberry, I definitely prefer the jellied kind!

  15. Mmmmm. Yes to the cheeseball and crackers. And yes to pizza, any day of the year. I’m glad turnips aren’t served at my family gatherings, because I would definitely pass on those. Ellen, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers every day. Though I know this is a sad time for you, I do hope you and your entire family has a blessed Thanksgiving. Your angels will be watching over you.
