Friendly Fill-Ins Week 164

Hi everyone! Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. Please leave your link (at bottom of post) here or at my co-host’s Four-Legged Furballs. You can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The linky seems to be working this week.

1. I like my ________________ with _________________.

2. When I was _______________, I had to have ___________________.

3. I spend the most time thinking about _________.

4. _________ is a risk worth taking.
My answers:
1. I like my coffee with milk or cream, no sugar.
2. When I was a kid, I had to have all things smurf-pajamas, shirts, stuffed toys, plastic figurines, etc.
3. I spend the most time thinking about things I have no control over like my cats’ health.
4. Love is a risk work taking. I mean people and pets, there is a risk of heartbreak, but the benefits outweigh the risk.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

Here is a flashback of Angel Phoebe’s lemonade stand.

  1. How we miss Phoebe! There’s a perfect demonstration, though, of your answer. Love is worth the risk, even though it hurts sometimes when you lose someone.

    Happy Friday!

    1. Thank you for missing her too. It was painful to lose her, but I was so blessed to have her. XO

  2. Phoebe’s such a pretty kitty. {{{Hugs}}}

We have the same answer, for the most part, for #4.

How cool that you liked Smurfs! I did, too. David always called me his “Smurf” 🙂

I hope that you had a great 4th of July. Have a blessed weekend!

    1. Thank you. 🙂 That is sweet that David called you smurf. I hope you have a blessed weekend too. XO

  3. Meowser Ms. Ellen, you and I totally agree on number 4, though you took the time to explain why.

  4. Oh what great fill-ins…..we agree with you about love! Great fill-ins. Thanks for co-hosting this super fun hop every week. Phoebe’s lemonade stand was totally adorable….just as she was.

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. I love your fill-ins. A couple were almost like mine. Great minds and all.

Angel Phoebe could have served me up some lemonade. Adorable shot.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  6. As I have aged I try to MAKE myself not worry about what I cannot change but it is a struggle. I think worry/caring is in the female DNA.

    I like my coffee black!!
    Hugs Cecilia

  7. I’m surprised no other cat took up the lemonade business.
TW takes her coffee w/o sugar too. She says she’s sweet enough but I don’t think so.
These fill-ins were hard. I had to think. Thanks for hosting.

    1. I say the same thing about no sugar 🙂 We still have the lemonade stand, maybe Penny could get it going. XO

  8. Hi Angel Phoebe. I remember and miss you very much. XXX

    Let mom try the fill-ins.

    1. I like my ice cream with NO additives, gums, fillers, artificial flavoring, nothing but milk, cream, sugar and real flavor.

    2. When I was a teenager, I had to have my weekly skating times. Loved it and the socializing.

    3. I spend the most time thinking about Katie’s brothers, especially her first and oldest favorite one.

    4. Trust, after knowing someone, is a risk worth taking.

    1. Thank you. I miss her so much. Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I make my own ice cream with just those things, you would love it. I used to like skating too 🙂 I am sure you always think of your boys. Have a nice weekend. XO

  9. phoebe yur lemon stand foto total lee rox N we hope ya haza awesum lemonade stand in heaven ~ 🙂 ♥♥♥

  10. Phoebe is so missed! ♥
I am like you with #3… concerned over stuff I can’t change and have no control over the outcome. If you don’t mind I am going to do Fill-Ins here today.
    1. I like my chili in a bowl with a blob of peanut butter.
    2. When I was a kid, I had to have a horse. It was all I thought about.
    3. I spend the most time thinking about FOOD.
    4. Getting out of my comfort zone is usually a risk worth taking.
    Thank you, Ellen!

    1. Thank you for these great answers. #1 is very unique. I like my chili with tortilla chips in it. Did you get the horse?
      Have a nice weekend! XO

  11. I remember the smurf times as well! And every good cat owner spends lots of time thinking about his/her furbabies.
    Have a wonderful Feline Friday!

  12. Great answers. We are in total agreement with #4. Without love, what’s it worth? Love is what makes life worth living.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  13. That’s a cute flashback!

    about number four:
Sometimes I feel very heartbroken when the peeps I care for and love so much pass away…then som e of my coworkers say, why do you let yourself get so attached to your residents?…um…pardon me?? If I didn’t love them how could I care well for them, and besides if I couldn’t love them, I would have to find other work. Those coworkers really are cold hearted, in my opinion…

    1. Thank you. I am glad you are the way you are. If I was in a nursing home or a loved one, I would pray for someone like you to care for me. XO

  14. Oh, unfortunately, I spend a lot of time thinking about things I can’t control too. Why is it we can’t stop ourselves from that? 🙂

  15. Your fill-ins are always fantastic! Oh my goodness, Smurfs! I used to watch the Smurfs cartoon all the time as a kid. And I know exactly what you mean with #3. Sometimes I find myself worrying about my kitties and pup even when they’re acting perfectly normal and healthy. I guess that sort of goes hand-in-hand with your answer to #4. Purrs!

    1. Smurfs are cute, but now that I am a cat lover, I think they are too mean to Azriel.
