  1. Anyone who doesn’t want to accept your answer about the number of cats should not ask. It’s not crazy to have a lot of them, although it certainly can be a lot of work.

  2. Momma liked Bohemian Rhapsody a lot too.

Sometimes when da mommas buy cat food locally (they usually order it), the checker will ask how many cats they have. And these people think THREE is a lot!

  3. Love the picture of Angel Phoebe, she looks very happy … sorry she isn’t with you anymore.
Most of my failed pictures I delete 😉 … although …
    greetings

  4. That is a lovely picture of Phoebe, and probably the only sort of cracker that I would like—nice and quiet 🙂
Oooh now that is one awesome fail, and made us laugh. Mrs H is, I swear, trying to work her way up to that but from some of the shots she’s take of late 😉
    Have a great week

  5. I said the same thing for #1 ! Why not just stay comfy instead of being in the heat, humidity and buggy atmosphere?! Hope you all have a happy Friday AND weekend……

    Love, Pam and Teddy too

  6. Ellen,

I think most of the time people or at least I hope so are just kiddin’ around with you. I often teased my daughter that she’s going to become a crazy cat lady. She only has three but in a very small apartment, it felt like an entire herd. lol I think whatever makes you happy comes first and if it’s a dozen or so cats or children then go for it! The work to care for all those animals or children would drive me crazIER! lol Thanks for hosting the Friday fun, my furriend!

  7. There is nothing wrong with having a lot of cats. We think it is wonderful that you are taking care of so many. It is a lot of work but well worth it. You all have a fantastic day.

  8. Good Meowning! Phoebe…that’s a safe firecracker! And that leg leg…are toys about to play the cello?

  9. I cracked up with that photo of Phoebe! How adorable! 😀

As for people reacting a certain way when you tell them how many cats you have – that’s definitely their problem. Your life is your business. 😉 You actually love and care for your babies and that’s ALL that matters in my book. If you weren’t, that’d be an entirely different story.

Sending blessings your way to you & all of yours. ♥

  10. Folks just need to keep their noses out of everyone’s business. If you want lots of kitties then it’s your business, not anyone else. Just saying.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

The linky isn’t working right this morning. I ended up with a black avatar. Oh well.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

  11. There’s nothing crazy about having lots of cats! I stay inside during summer months, as well. I don’t like heat and humidity. Besides, I have a lot more energy in cooler weather.

  12. I envy your cats, and want to be just like you when I grow up! Sometimes, when someone asks me about my cats, I ask them first if they like cats, or have their own. That way, it pushes back enough so they don’t give me that “wow, you are crazy!” look. Such rude people!

  13. Just ignore people who say negative things about the cats. You’re doing a good thing looking after them and that’s all that matters.

  14. Your answer for how many cats should be “not nearly enough!” That should shut them up. We get an opposite reaction when people see my 5 cat trees and scratchers and learn only one cat lives here. MOL!
There’s a “skunk” on the cat tree. HAH!

  15. Thanks for sharing your great Friendly Fill-in answers. We agree with staying inside with the AC on during those hot summer days. We enjoyed the Bohemian Rhapsody movie too. Love the photo fail. Have a great upcoming weekend.

  16. I could do with a/c here but not many people in the UK have it. After weeks of rain and cold it has now turned hot and humid. Humidity has been 93% all day but dropped to 82% now. I hate being hot and sticky!
People should mind there own business about how many cats you have. They are all loved and well cared for and that’s the important thing.
Love the photo of Angel Phoebe.

  17. Crazy for having a lot of cats? Never!! The mom has grown out of changing the radio station in the car. She usually listens to just one now…and barely that sometimes.

  18. I love that Freddy Mercury was a cat lover! I didn’t know that until recently. It makes him that much more great!

And #4 – Just ignore them! People can be insensitive. You just keep being the amazing person you are xo

    1. I agree about Freddy Mercury. And thank you for your sweet comment about #4. XO

  19. Fantastic fill-ins! I am so with you on #1. If it’s hot out, you’ll find me inside. And you are so right about #4. I have my 4 cats, in addition to my sister’s 2 kitties living at my house. Even just hearing that I have 6 cats in my house makes some people act like I’m some kind of alien. My parents have 12 cats, and they also get frustrated when people ask how many cats they have, and then act shocked at the answer. No matter what anyone asks or says, though, your kitties all have a purrfect home and belong exactly where they are!
