Hi everyone! Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. My link will probably not work, but I know my co-host, Annie at McGuffy’s Reader will have a working link. I have contacted the linky developer and was told wordpress sometimes adds to the code to “protect”, I can’t see any additions, but it doesn’t usually work.

My answers:

1. One quirk I have is ALWAYS LEAVING THE CABLE BOX ON CHANNEL 5 BEFORE SHUTTING IT OFF, NOT SURE WHY I DO THAT, BUT I TRAINED THE HUBBY TO DO IT TOO.
2. My favorite comic strip is MUTTS, I LOVE HOW THEY DO SHELTER STORIES AND PROMOTE ADOPTIONS. PLUS MOOCHIE WITH HIS LIL’ PINK SOCK IS ADORABLE.
3. I am really happy WITH MY LIFE, I AM BLESSED TO HAVE A GREAT MOM, SWEET KITTIES, A LOVING HUBBY AND LOTS OF BLOGGING FRIENDS.
4. If I could go anywhere on a road trip, I WOULD GO TO NYC! ALTHOUGH IT IS A LITTLE TOO HOT RIGHT NOW.

  4. Mom almost picked NYC. She hasn’t been their in over 30 years. Mutts is also a favorite comic strip of hers, and she is happy with her life. The two of you have lots in common.   5. I’ve never heard of Mutts. Is it online or only in print? I’d love to see it.

    When we had television with cable/satellite, I never could figure it out. If I wanted to watch television (which was rarely anyway), I would have to get David or one of the kids to find the channel for me. I never could do it. More often than not, I would end up with the TV hissing at me when I tried to do it. 🙂

    NYC is a fun place to visit (i’ve been several times), but i sure am glad i don’t live there.

  20. Now I am curious about what’s on Channel 5! :-). I don’t know the Mutts comic strip, but it sounds awesome. Your answer for #3 will definitely top them all, being content with your life is a tremendous blessing, and your positive attitude has so much to do with that! I have been to NYC once, it was fascinating but way too busy and crowded for this flatlander girl. 🙂

  22. Furst off, channel 5? Does your favorite program come on dat channel? We don’t have a cable box or a channel 5, so we don’t know what network dat would be. And we thought you went to NYC fairly offen. Not sure why we thought dat, but we did. MOL As fur your happiness, you are very bledt and we are very blest to have you as a furiend and awnty.     1. Channel 5 is just NBC for us, I just like the number. 🙂 I last went to NYC in March of 2015, I usually go every year which is not enough for me. XO

  23. I like your answer to #3. My mum likes NYC. She has been there a few times but says 3 days is long enough. It is too hectic for any longer.

    NYC would be an awesome road trip – I did it from PA a couple of years ago, it’d be a much bigger hike from Seattle, but I’d be game to do it! 🙂 I’d love to go back again!

  29. We drove through NYC on our way to Maine in 2004, but it was in the wee hours of the morning and couldn’t see much. It would be interesting to visit the city one day. There’s a lot of interesting things to see there. Thanks for hosting the Friday fun and for visiting!

  32. 1. One quirk I have is Quirk, what’s that? I don’t have quirks although TW might disagree.
    2. My favorite comic strip is Mutts but TW likes Pearls Before Swine.

    1. I am with you CK, Mutts is the best 🙂 I do feel a little bad for TW, maybe you should stick with attacking hands and feet. And yes, be sure those fleas are gone before you visit Spitty. I hope you are feeling better.

  33. My husband and I are in the habit of always putting the TV on the Disney channel when we are done watching. That way when the kids turn the TV on – no chance of them being on a channel that might show something inappropriate — because honestly, even the commercials sometimes push the boundaries!
    I would love to go to NYC again. Such a great city.
