Happy Friday Everyone! First off- Sammy did pass his Botany test, but his name didn’t get added to the list. 001(He’s celebrating with some nip)

I am started my hopping early this week because I am co-hosting Feeling Beachie’s Friday Follow Fill-In Fun:

The statements are:

  2. I have too much _______________________ and not enough ____
  3. When I am __________ I ___________
  4. I wanted to be ________________ when I was _________

My Answers:

1. I used to be LAID BACK but now I am NOT ( or so I have been told)

2. I have too much TO READ and not enough TIME TO READ

4. I wanted to be A DANCER when I was YOUNG” type=”text/javascript”></script></code>

Β I also want to join the Friendship Friday Blog Party at Create with Joy so I am putting a link to a previous post when I made the pattern for crocheted turkey legs:

Friendship Friday at Create With Joy

Spooky and I want to recommend a book too. Usually Lucy is in charge of books, but Spooky is feeling better and he looks so much like the kitty on the cover:003

Β The Good, the Bad and the Furry by Tom Cox is the third book about the author’s cats. I read the first one and loved it, I haven’t read the second one, but I plan to. This book finds the author recently divorced and adjusting to life with the cats he kept in the divorce ( his ex took the younger 2 that were bonded). Most of the book is humorous stories about life with multiple cats including strange cats entering through the cat door.
See you tomorrow for more hopping.

  1. Well, I am glad Sammy passed the nip errrr botany test! MOL

Mum read Tom Cox’s first book, so will look out for the latest. He is funny πŸ™‚

  2. YAY SAMMY!!!!! You DID pass……so glad Denmaster told you that as I know you thought you’d not passed. I’m so happy about that! We just love your Mom’s turkey legs (oops that sounds funny doesn’t it!!!) – she does such a great job creating cool toys with crochet. The book sounds good too! Happy Friday.

    Hugs, Sammy

  3. Well done, Sammy!
I like your 4 things. They could apply to me too – except for number 4. There’s no way I could ever have been a dancer – totally uncoordinated and inelegant!

  4. Geez, I don’t have enough time to read all of the books I want to…and I’ve seen this one at the bookstore but haven’t picked it up yet. I’m donating a few of my cat book collection to a local cat rescue group; hope they can raise a few $!

    1. You were lucky that you won a copy πŸ™‚ Spooky even has the tattered ears.

  6. Wait I think Mom has that book…she needs to go look and see what she did with it!
Hope you all have a great weekend.

    1. I hope you Mom has that book, she will like it. Have a great weekend!

  7. Oh,I’m going to add that book to my TBR list!

I always enjoy reading your fill-ins. I’ve never been laid back (unfortunately).

  8. Yay Sammy!

Yep, too many books to read in this lifetime. Love snuggling with the cats. That always makes me smile.

  9. Good job passing the botany test. My mom knows a lot about plants, but I don’t care about them, not even catnip. Looks like you’re having a good roll in the nip.

    1. You don’t like catnip Raven? I have heard of a few kitties like that and some like silvervine instead, maybe your Mom will get you some.

  10. Yay Sammy, Congrats on passing that tough test of yours, are you celebrating in that photo?! We won that book in Summer’s giveaway but haven’t read it yet.

    1. Yes, Sammy was rolling in the catnip πŸ™‚ You will love the book.
