Feliway is a Great Comfort Spray

Happy Satruday everyone! Today is product day and I have a great product to recommend that I use quite often. Comfort Zone with Feliway for Cats Spray really does calm kitties down.

I spray it in the carrier before a vet trip and it does seem to help. I also spray it on the bed where Spooky has sat so Lucy won’t pee in that spot. It seems to cover up his particular smell so Lucy doesn’t get as upset. I have had Lucy for 13 years, but where she lived before was a black cat that was mean to her and she has never forgotten this.

The Feliway also comes in plug-ins that heat up and disperse the smell. One of the vets at the clinic we go to says she has one in every room and can tell when it is getting low because her cats start being mean to each other. I had a diffuser, but it got too hot and I am always afraid of starting a fire so I got rid of it.

Tomorrow one of the kitties will be writing. They are supposed to take turns, but I don’t think Phoebe wants to give up her writing job just yet. It has been getting chilly lately, I am so glad I have a calico “quilt”:002Lucy and Joanie keep me warm.

Today’s costume is:blog14KaTwo as The Queen of Hearts.

  1. Your calico quilt is wonderful; Joanie and Lucy sure are beautiful. Thank you for the review of Feliway. Mom has been thinking of buying it for awhile. Cali is quite skittish and mom was wondering if it would help her. She has always been that way so mom doesn’t know if it will help or if that is just Cali’s personality. Thanks for the great tip about spraying it into the carrier. We hate everything about a vet visit including the carrier. Maybe if we smell Feliway it will make it easier. Ka Two is adorable as the Queen of Hearts. Love, Cali, Andy, Tater and Shelly (C.A.T.S.)

    1. Thank you, I hope the Feliway helps. I am sure it will in the carrier, but for Cali it may just be her. I have had one cat, Snowball for over a year and she still runs if I try to pet her- unless I have chicken in my hand-LOL. Thanks for reading our blog, you really need to start one so I can read your too.

    1. Glad you like the costumes, I have been dressing my kitties up for Facebook for years so I thought I would share some. I am working on a new batch for the week of Halloween. Yes, kitties are great blankets.

    1. Those movers sure were a lot of trouble. Tell your mom the spray is neater 🙂

  3. In spite of Binga’s bad temper, we actually get along pretty well, so my human hasn’t gotten the Feliway yet. She was thinking of getting some for my out of town trips, but I LOVE being in the hotel room!

    1. Summer, you are just the perfect little kitten-your Mom is lucky to have you.

  4. We would add that it’s better to use Feliway as soon as possible if you want to calm the cats ; if there is a too big problem or you wait too many time, it’s not very efficient. Purrs

  5. That looks like a nice warm and fuzzy quilt. My mum got a Feliway plug in for me when Eric died. She thinks it did help me.

  6. That quilt sure does look warm and cozy – where can WE get one? 🙂

Feliway really does help. We have the plug in diffusers here.

    1. Sorry, the quilt is one of a kind 🙂 Do you find the plug in ones to get hot?
