E is for Egg

Hi everyone! I have had a rough week, Mom dragged me off to the VET so they could steal my blood. Snowball came to for her rabies shot too. I will admit that I wasn’t my normal sweet self, I hissed and growled. Apparently the wet whillies Mom gives me are working so I don’t need to go back to the thyroid pills.

I haven’t seen my Grammie since Monday. I love her so very much, I hope I get to see her soon. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, I  am thankful for all of you. Mom said I can even do an Easter giveaway.

This catnip mat and 2 Easter eggs are the prize. Mom also made another egg for the A-Z challenge too. Just comment on today’s post, feel free to tell me how pretty I am. I will announce the winner on Sunday.

Sammy did so well with his poem last week that I let him do this week’s poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day too.

QUEST
At Cat Scouts I went on a quest
it was harder than a test.
We had to read a map
and walk a long ways without a nap.
It was still a lot of fun,
I enjoyed being with everyone.

And last, but not least are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second two.

    I’m sorry that you and Snowball had to go to the vet. I don’t blame you for hissing and growling. I’ve done that a few times myself. I even bit the dentist once. :-/

  10. Hi Phoebe! I’m glad you don’t need your thyroid pill any longer….so I guess you’re feeling a lot better?! Nice of you to let Sammy write the “Q” poem today and QUEST is a perfect thing to write about! We are going to have another Quest soon….eeeek!   15. Phoebe, I’ve missing something…what is a ‘wet willy’? You have every right to be growley at the vet, since they stick you with a needle! Hope that your grammie visits soon for some snuggles!

    1. A wet whillie is when someone sticks a wet finger in your ear, Mom does that to me everytime she puts transdermal thyroid medicine in my ear, but it beats taking pills.

  32. Phoebe, I’m sorry you had to go the vet (yuck!), but I’m so glad you’re doing so well! You are so funny about the wet willies. Although normally the very thought grosses me out, in this case, they’re perfect. They’re definitely preferable to pills for both you and your mom I’m sure and they’re helping with your hyper-t.

    Sammy’s poem is just perfect.

    We hope you get to see your Grammie soon. Tell your Mama we love the invitations she chose. Also mention our Mama is nowhere nearly as organized as your Mama. She doesn’t start thinking about Christmas until a few weeks before it actually arrives!

  39. Even when humans go to the doctor they have their blood taken. Something to do with knowing what’s going on inside the body. But most humans don’t have a nice catnip mat and crocheted eggs to go home to.

We’d love to win. Mau thought about writing a “Quest” poem, but it’s been so long since Scouts went on one that his mind went blank. Sammy did an excellent job on his.   41. Those eggs are very pretty. I love a good pastel for Easter, though bright colors are fun too. I’m loving all your crochet projects. They’re so neat. And they at least look simple enough that it makes me want to get my yarn out again.
