Happy Friday everyone! Today is book day and Lucy and I are both recommending Dangled Carat by Hilary Grossman.Many of you know Hilary from her blog Feeling Beachie ( http://www.feelingbeachie.com/ ) . I enjoy her Friday Fun fill-ins and stories of her cat, Lucy. One week, she was offering her book Dangled Carat on the Kindle for 99cents so I decided to give it a try. I am kicking myself for not ordering it sooner because it was such an excellent story.
I love memoirs and books with cats so this was the perfect blend for me. In the book, Hilary meets a wonderful, kind and handsome man that wantd to date her. Everything starts out well until she realizes he has some commitment issues. He wasn’t a cheater or anything like that, but he wasn’t getting down on one knee in a normal timespan. If I had read this when I was younger, I would have been thinking she should jusy dump him if he didn’t want to be married. Now that I am older, I can understand why she stayed with him for so long – I am not going to tell you much more because I don’t want to ruin the ending for you. I will say that her boyfriend did have a pet cat named Alex and anyone that takes good care of their cat has to be good. Here is the Amazon link:
PS: For anyone that doesn’t already know, Hilary has a cat named Lucy now. That makes her wonderful as far as my Lucy is concerned.

I have heard lots of good reports about this book too. Mum should get a Kindle then she would read more of the books that get reviewed.
I prefer a real book, but I have a cheap Polaroid Android with a Kindle so I can read things like this.
