Caturday Saturday!

Hi everyone! We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop today. Phoebe wanted to be patriotic for the 4th of July so she used pho.to to face paint some flags on her cute little face.

And I want to show you one of my completed button art projects:

DSCF1752 I was able to find one more package of blue buttons at a different Michael’s store, but it wasn’t enough so I made the bottom with green and tan to be like sand and grass.

  1. Phoebe looks so patriotic. We thought she actually let you paint those flags on her fur. Your button art kitty looks terrific. Mom saw a button card at the Chicago Airport. It was in the shape of a heart and very nice. Hope to see you for selfies tomorrow. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    1. Phoebe is sweet, but not that sweet- she would never let me paint her face- I wouldn’t anyway 🙂 I made a horseshoe button card recently- I plan to make more cards, they are easy and fast 🙂 We will be hopping with you tomorrow.

  2. Oh Phoebe I love your patriotic face flags! Totally cool………but even cooler is that wonderful button art! It’s really just wonderful……..and I think you should give your Mom a “high five” for a really creative project well done! Hope you all have a wonderful 4th…………QUIET with no noisy fireworks!

    Love, Sammy

    1. Thank you and my Mom thanks you too. We hope you have a nice quiet 4th too! XO and love to you and your Mom too.

  3. Wow, a great idea. And all those second-hand stores full of buttons!!! Mama goes crazy over them.

    1. I should look in thrift stores, I have been buying mine in craft stores 🙂

  4. Love the button art! Katie Mom tried to do a face paint for Mitchel our foster kitten, but the ‘face recognition’ couldn’t find Mitchel’s face! Glad it does do kitties… Will have to try again later with a different photo. Did find a way to make a flag from Mitchel’s photo though.

    Happy Fourth Weekend!

    1. I usually have the same problem, but this time it worked 🙂 Happy 4th!

  5. by the way… your blog is doing something odd… it’s showing two copies of this post above your banner and the copies are right on the background… furry strange. Don’t know if anyone else can see that. -Katie Kat.

  6. Love Phoebe’s little patriotic face and the button art work is really nice. Great job!
    Happy 4th!

  12. I hope you kitties got some buttons to play with!! My Momma is overprotective and wouldn’t let me have them … not that I wouldn’t get my paws on a few … at least for a few seconds 🙂 The button art is fabulous! And the subject, divine <3

    1. Mom only does her button art in the dining room which is a no kitty zone- she is so mean. Glad you like the button art 🙂
