Blog4Peace

Hi everyone! Today is a special day in the blogging world. Mimi Lenox started Blog4Peace back in 2006 and it continues to grow. Every year we are asked to create a peace globe from the template offered or one you design yourself. This year’s theme is Climate Change.

I used a photo of Sammy to remind everyone to keep the heat down and put on a sweater instead.

And being that Sammy is most awww..worthy, we are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww..Mondays hop too.

  1. Good job, Sammy. A little conservation and foresight sure goes a long way in helping save our planet. Peace and love to you all, sweet pals.

  2. Absolutely … saving on energy usage is so important and it impacts many other things as well. It is something each and every one of us can do every day to make a difference. Paws up to you all!

  3. Sammy looks sharp in his sweater! Ellen, that is a beautiful globe you made. World peace, taking steps to reduce the causes of climate change and to preserve wild places are all worthy efforts. I’ll check out Mimi’s website!

  4. We all need to stop pointing fingers, and each pitch in to make solutions! I even asked my doctor if I could go off a few meds, just to reduce my own footprint on this Earth. The Hubby even added an airlock at the front door, to avoid having all of the warm air/cold air sucked out when the door opens.

  5. Good reminder Sammy.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your siblings and your mom. ♥

  6. Great peace globe! If we all did one small thing a day, we could be the change. Today was the first day we turned on the heat in the condo. TW bought a new comforter so she’s been cozy without heat even though it goes down in the mid-30s.

  7. We must be mindful about our home, planet earth, and take good care of it. Every little bit makes a difference. xo

  8. Sammy, your adorable photo and wise advice are purrfect! We have thus far managed to keep our furnace running minimally this season, using sweaters, blankets, and kitty cuddles to stay warm. Purrs!

  9. That is great, and purrfect advice! We also always have throw blankets on the back of our couch to keep us warmer when needed.
