Hi everyone! Thank you for your kind words yesterday, you all helped Emmy ( and I) feel better. We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays.

Emmy has added a new “piece” to her collection- the big blue mousie.

Our friend, Stunning Keisha posted a meme last week and we are going to join in the fun.

My name is: Emmy

My age when adopted: I am not telling, the vet guessed I could be anywhere from 6-14 years of age.  I have a bad ticker, but it could be that I was born with it and not age related.
My nicknames are: Emma , Emmy Lou, Miss Pick and Skunky ( that one irks me),
My breed is: Domestic long hair
My main color is:  Black and White (with a smudge of orange on my left foot).
My age is:  I have been here 3 years so I guess anywhere from 9-14, but mom guesses I am maybe 12, she hopes not older.
My favorite human food is: a tie between chicken and hangurgers.
My biggest fear is: Nothing now, I already lived through my biggest fear by being homeless 3 years ago.
My favorite thing(s) to do: Add to my collection of toys- I have 30 now.
Where do I sleep? On a chair in the bedroom with my entire collection, I also nap on mom’s legs in bed sometime.
Do I like car rides?: Not really.
Do I purr?: Not often, but sometimes so mom knows I love her.
Do I snore? Absolutely not!!! Joanie, Sammy and Dad all do though. And sometimes mom does too, but don’t tell her I told you.

Nowhere are there more caring cat people than RIGHT THERE. No matter what your age may be, you are living your best life now and we hope you’ll have many more years of love RIGHT THERE!!!!!

    Daisy Mae’s favorite food is Chicken too. However, Daisy Mae doesn’t eat human food.

    Your secret is safe with me. I won’t tell your mommy that she snores. I think that’s common human trait as I sometimes snore, too. 🙂 I used to talk in my sleep and DH would try to engage with me by asking questions to see if I’d respond. One time I couldn’t find the soap. Apparently I was frustrated about it and that time he got tickled waking me up partly. That’s when he stopped and told me all about the next morning. lol I think I’ve stopped the nightly chatter since he hasn’t mentioned it in years.
