Hi everyone! We are joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop .

Apparently even cats love New York’s Governor Cuomo

And Emmy. Don’t worry, she isn’t sticking her tongue out at you. It is for whoever judged the children’s books at the CWA and didn’t deem her book , I Am Not A Skunk worthy of a certificate. *

 

*I mean no offense by this post, I am happy for all my blogging friends that did receive certificates of excellence.

  2. Cute photos of the kitties, Ellen. Your books arrived a few days ago. (sent you an email) I took a quick look and they look great! I will sit down and read them, and write reviews; it might take me awhile, I need to find a day when I am not feeling foggy-headed, but hopefully soon, next week or so. XO

  4. We all love Governor Cuomo here, too, Joanie. And Emmy, we LOVE your book, if it makes you feel any better. The children who read it (before COVID-19) to the PAWS cats all loved it. XO

  7. Well you certainly did deserve a CWA – it looks like a LOT of people received recognition for their efforts and you SHOULD have too! Love the photos of everyone – I know all of them are PROUD of their Mom just like we are!!

  8. Yes, you should have been awarded a certificate of excellence. I found “I Am Not A Skunk” a most excellent book! Very cute selfies this Sunday morning.

  9. Emmy, Joanie, Mom has her autographed copy in her bookcase after James enjoyed it… but she is spreading the word by letting the children’s library here have the others. All the children can enjoy them now. and know who you are. XXX

  11. We are sorry ” I Am Not A Skunk” did not get a certificate. Although Emmy, you are so very pretty we don’t think anyone could mistake you for a skunk.

    We glance at the TV sometimes, feel the need for a break and often do not understand humans and why they don’t do something that we think is obivious :/

  32. We agree with that raspberry. Mom was super surprised to not see your mom listed for a Certificate of Excellence. It made her think she didn’t enter. Mom couldn’t believe her “Sawyer” poem didn’t make the cut, and she was flabbergasted that Periwinkle and Stinky did. Anyhoo…Mom Ellen was robbed! Thank you so much for hopping with us.
