Time for The Friendly Fill-Ins. Please leave your link (at bottom of post) here or at my co-host’s Four-Legged Furballs. You can also answer in the comment section.
1. I have faith in ________________.
2. Yesterday, I ____________________.
3. My favorite place to be is _________.
4. If I was granted one wish, it would be _________.
My answers:
1. I have faith in God, I know everything happens for a reason and God will get me through.
2. Yesterday, I finally got to Build-A-Bear with my great-niece ( The Great One).
She chose the “Elsa” bear, for the bargain price of $7, you can add a piece in her paw that sings “Let it Go”. SO glad we went with that so we could hear it 30 times on the way home 🙂 Just kidding, I had as much fun as she did.
3. My favorite place to be is home with my kitties. And hubby. If I could get my Mom to move in with us, it would be even better.
4. If I was granted one wish, it would be that no animal ever had to suffer. ( How many people thought I would say to meet Nicolas Cage?).

Kitties our mom is jealous that you let your mom put clothes on you. We don’t like wearing anything at all.
Most of mine are good about it, Joanie is the best. XO
Your fill-ins are always so fantastic! I completely and totally agree with your #1. I feel bad for not putting that as mine, but I ended up feeling inspired by my furbabies for that one. I have never done Build-A-Bear, but I think the concept is so cute. Your #3 and #4 are very much like mine. I love to stay home more than anything. And, I also wish that all animals would only know care and love. I so badly want to make that wish come true. I hope your Friday is fabulous!
Thank you. I bet you would love Build a Bear- you can build a kitty too 🙂 XO
Build a Bear sounds like fun, and i agree i cannot stand that animals suffer, it would be nice to be able to make that end.
Thank you. It would be nice.
These are great answers, Ellen. You made me giggle with the Nicolas Cage comment. haha
Build-a-Bear sounds like a lot of fun. I am glad that you and your little niece finally got to go. 🙂
Have a blessed weekend!
Thank you. I hope you have a blessed weekend too. XO
Cute pic and great answers!
Thank you. XO
I’m sure meeting Nicholas Cage was your #2 wish.
I bet it is too!
Yes, it sure was 🙂
Love your fill-ins – and YES I thought you’d say Nicolas Cage (!!). Joanie is the most patient kitty in the whole world and I know that The Great One is so happy to play dress up with her. Glad you got to “Let It Go” 30 times – I have a feeling you will hear it WAY MORE THAN THAT in the coming days…..tee hee
Hugs, Teddy and Mom too
Joanie is a very sweet kitty. Yes, I know I will hear it lots more 🙂 XO
MOL we agree with Summer….we know Nicholas Cage was your second wish.
We don’t have a Build A Bear around here but are glad because Mom would probably buy us CLOTHES!
The Florida Furkids
Very true about Nic. I have gotten my cats a lot of stuff from there, but American Girl doll accessories fit better 🙂 XO
Glad you finally got to Build a Bear. If I had to hear “Let It Go” even once on the way home, either that bear or I would have gone out the window! Joanie is such a good sport to play dress-up like that. 🙂
Joanie is a sweetie. And so am I for putting up with that song 🙂
Great answers. #4 – YES! That would be wonderful.
Thank you 🙂
Great answers to the fill-ins.That bear is just way too cute. Joanie is such a good kitty to let little ones dress her up. You all have a fantastic day.
Thank you. Joanie is a sweetie. XO
That bear is adorable!
Ellen, if you’re 100% honest wouldn’t you really like to wish that you and Nicholas Cage could work together to make animals safe?
Yes, I hadn’t thought of that- good wish 🙂
Love your fill in answers! Have a great weekend!
Thank you. I hope you have a great weekend too.
Yes, on the Nicholas Cage! That was my first thought. (lol)
Priorities 🙂 XO
How fun getting to do the Build a Bear with The Great One. Your Fill-in for #4 is my wish too, it’s just that I would love to see the Z Cat enjoy the windows here and run and skid around on the tile and give her a huge raspberry on her furry tummy.
The Great One and Joanie… ♥♥
1. I have faith in my inner voice.
2. Yesterday, I had a Krispy Kreme Glazed Cruller… and then I had another.
3. My favorite place to be is where I am.
4. If I was granted one wish, it would be to have our Z Cat back.
Good Fill-ins!
Thank you for these great answers. I know what you mean about #4, I wish I had my Phoebe and Lucy and many others. I am sure they are with us in spirit though. I want a Krispy Kreme now, the closest is at the casino in CT about an hour and 45 minutes away. I go there with my mom once a year and that is what I get 🙂 XO
What a fun adventure with the Great one!! Elsa Bear is very pretty and yes to be able to press the paw 87 times in 87 seconds is the best.
I built one 2 years ago as a shower present for my niece.
She loved it as did all the ladies at the shower
Hugs C
That was a cool idea for a gift. XO
Great answers, especially #4.
Thank you. XO
Love these fill-ins this week. ::raises hand:: Yeah, though Mr. Cage would be somewhere in there.
Thank you. I guess everyone knows I love Nic 🙂
1. I have faith in my husband.
2. Yesterday, I took a boat ride from Rio Vista to Benicia, California.
3. My favorite place to be is anywhere hubby is.
4. If I was granted one wish, it would be peace on earth.
I guessed Nicolas Cage. Just saying.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥
Thank you for these great answers. I am glad you and your hubby are so close. XO
What nice fill-ins. I’m so thankful for my faith. And that’s sweet that your kitty tolerates a child. I have one cat who’s a diplomat (Tilly) who likes everyone, then there’s Jezebel who hides when the doorbell rings. ~sigh~ Be well!
Thank you. The other 12 hide from her 🙂
Great fill-in answers! My favorite place to be is home with my kitties as well 🙂
Thank you. XO
LOVE Joanie to pieces! Look at her!
1. I have faith in God.
2. Yesterday, My boy and I were badly inconvenienced by a whoppingly bad mistake in the hospital’s scheduling for my son. They cancelled his scan by accident and never told us. So we drove all the way there for nothing.
3. My favorite place to be is with any of my family wherever they are.
4. I have the same wish as you Ellen; that no animal would ever have to suffer with cruel people and inhumane treatment.
Thank you for your answers. I am sorry that happened at the hospital. XO
That is such a wonderful wish, it would end so much suffering on earth!
Thank you, if only it could come true.
Yep, you threw me for a loop with #4. I thought it would be Mr. Cage for sure! But I like your answer.
Priorities 🙂
Joanie, I am just like The Great One, because I will put clothes on my kitties too! Only for a few minutes, but they really don’t care, and actually enjoy my oohing and ahhing a little!
Joanie does too 🙂
I agree with no. 1! <3
Thank you 🙂

MOL! 🙂
Disney has a knack for creating songs that kids love to sing. Later you will find yourself singing it, too. I remember our oldest daughter playing Little Mermaid over and over. I went to work and could still hear Under the Sea even though there was no music playing in the office.
Great answer on number one. Have a blessed week.
I remember Under the Sea too from my niece and Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast 🙂 I hope you have a blessed weekend too.XO
Aww Joanie looking tanfastic as always
Have a fillintastic weekend 🙂
PS: I’m sending Nicholas Cage around over the weekend 🙂
Thank you. I will be waiting for Nic. 🙂
Whoa! You have to want to meet Nic Cage more than that!
1. I have faith in the Codd Mother and Capo Tuna.
2. Yesterday, I forgot to recharge the batteries and they ran out.
3. My favorite place to be is my cube.
4. If I was granted one wish, it would be a much bigger condo with a catio and everything. Bet you thought I’d say Chinese food or more kibble.
Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. I hope your wish comes true. XO
Great fill ins! We love Joanie’s cowgirl outfit, very snappy!
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Oliver & The Tribe of Five
Thank you 🙂
I would bet that Joanie is the only Tortie in the Cat Blogosphere who would be so laid-back about dress up ! (Mudpie ? Amarula ? Binga ? )
Joanie is a dilute calico. Penny is a tortie and would never stand for that 🙂
Oh, Joanie, you are such a good girl to be dressed up like that. I would freak out big time!
Laila
She is a saint. 🙂
Thanks for the share. We are laughing with the fill-in answers. Hearing it 30 times on the way home. We wish that could happen to every animal around the world. Great seeing Joanie getting ready for the rodeo. Love the photo. Have a great weekend.
Thank you. glad you got a chuckle 🙂 I hope you have a great weekend too.
You sure make a cute cowgirl, Joanie!
Joanie thanks you.
Your #2 is hilarious!! Joanie is a little cutie in her costume.
Thank you. XO
#1. Amen!
We’re very glad the Great One got her bear finally. And doesn’t everyone just love that very special song??
Thank you 🙂
1. Kickeroo. 2. melting from the heat. 3. curled up in Mom or Dad’s arms. 4. furr-ever homes fur all the kitties needing them. Miss Ellen, I’m glad you had quality time with your great-niece. I think there should be a ‘Build a Kitty’ workshop. Tee hee hee.
Thank you for these great answers. They do have kitties, i am surprised she went with the bear, we tried to explain that she could dress a kitty as Elsa too 🙂 XO
Joanie, you are such good sport. We definitely wouldn’t be. Great fill-ins Mom Ellen. You know our mom totally agrees with that staying home with us and dad. You can have two answers for #4. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Thank you, I will of course want to meet Nic Cage 🙂 XO
So many people look for happiness outside of their homes – when all the best is right under their noses. I’d rather be at home with my cats too.
That is so true. XO
My favorite place to be is home with hubby and all of the animals too! ♥
You are wise 🙂
A day late here, but we are so happy that the little one finally got to build her bear. We bet she is adorable, the little girl and the bear:) Mom says her favorite place to be is at home with us too:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Thank you 🙂
I love your answers and am right there with you on #3. That must have been fun going to Build-A-Bear with the Great One. Joanie is so cute in her outfit!
It was fun. Joanie thanks you 🙂

Your hot dog costume is pretty cool. We enjoyed your answers and yes, there’s no place like home. We still don’t have internet and are working on cellular which sure isn’t easy.
Thank you. I hope your internet is back soon.
We so agree with your last answer. But we bet meeting Nicholas Cage was a close second for that answer.
Thank you . It sure was 🙂

Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
I didn’t get a photo of it all dressed up, it looks better with the dress :)I am blessed to have you all in my life too. XO
Ellen,
I totally agree with your fill-in response to number one. I would’ve chosen faith in God for that one, too. Yesterday, I spent the day looking at washing machines and refrigerators, then going grocery shopping. Yikes, what a way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Generally speaking, my favorite place is home, too. I’ve grown into such homebody that it’s not funny but I do love the mountains, so that’s definitely one of my favorite places to be…with my camera! 🙂 I wish my kids didn’t always see us as the bad guy. You know the old saying, “no good deed goes unpunished.”? Well, that’s the way I feel all too often. No matter what we do, it’s just never enough. 🙁
Hopefully, I’ll get back into the fill-ins routine next month. There are a lot of things going on with us and I’m fighting to not get overwhelmed and anxious by it all. Have a good week, dearie!
I miss your fill-ins, but I certainly understand. You need to step away sometimes to relax. XO
