Hi everyone! I don’t have much to report this week. Mom has been acting pretty normal ( for her).  She did start her decluttering challenge that she told you about the other day. The first room is the bedroom ( not the closet though, that gets it’s own week). Mostly she just moved the crap that doesn’t belong in there and moved it to the dining room for now.

  3. Good luck with the de-cluttering thing – I bet she will find some toys and stuff that you guys haven’t noticed in a while so it will be like getting some NEW things! Check the dining room if you’re missing something…..tee hee

  6. Decluttering is still going on over here as well. The kitties love it, because they keep finding new things to play with and new places to sit. Do you kitties help your mom, too? You all look fantastic! Happy Sunday!

  9. Weebles! I was fortunate my older cousins outgrew their playsets my family couldn’t afford. I had so much fun with those. One was a cruise ship (!) as I recall. This human pulled a silly stunt just today, always getting in her own way. My laptop choked on the Internet while trying to load this very blog post. My alerted SO patiently informed me that it’s a necessary evil to totally shut down on occasion. ~sigh~ At least I already surmised the need. But that takes away from valuable writing time! Oh, well. It’s done. Happy decluttering!

    1. Glad you had some Weebles too. I had a camper and a tree house, they were a lot of fun. I wish I had saved those, all I have left is the weebles. Sorry you had to shut down for a while.

    My closet took a week too. It sure looks good now. I’m going to try to keep it that way. The bedroom is fine. Decluttering is a lot of work.

  32. Closet decluttering is the most fun thing to do….with all that stuff, and emptied spots to crawl into. I always try to help, but the humans avoid it and always tell me to go away so I don’t get into trouble while they sort through all their clutter.

    1. Yes, I am old and these were mine as a child 🙂 I like the old ones better, the newer ones are too big.

  36. Yep, I move a pile of stuff from one place to another, where it sits…however, now that Manny and Chili Bruce are out and about, some stuff REALLY has to be tucked away…or it will be lost furrever! LOL!

    Mum wants to go minimalist for our move and has been decluttering for ages now. She has a lot of stuff, but Gran has so much more!

    I don’t know why humans need so much stuff 🙂

  40. I need to get at some of that decluttering. I did take several boxes of too big clothes, mostly the hubby’s to a charitable donation place. But the kitchen here is way too loaded with all kinds of stuff…the good the needed and the overbought items…cause they were on sale and in the nonperishable division.
    My pantry is like a booby trap, move one item and then a whole lot of things go a tumbling…same in the cupboards…a self confessed hoarder to certain degree….sigh…
    Maybe when I have a string of days off…and no more pets…as if, MOL, MOL!!!

  42. MOL We swear awnty Ellen and mommy are sisfurs. Isn’t it funny how that declutter thing seems to just move the clutter from one place to the other. MOL Mommy said she’s savin’ the closet fur spring. It’s gonna get a whole season ’round here. MOL Ya’ll be lookin’ gawjus. Big hugs
