Hi everyone! I have another contest to announce at the end of this post. First off, today is medical day and I want to write about bad breath- not ours, our kitties. Unless you brush your cat’s teeth everyday and even if you do, there will be some odor. You will know what I am talking about if your cat has really bad breath.
Bad breath can be a sign of many medical issues so it is best to get a veterinary check up. Some issues can be bad teeth, kidney disease and tummy troubles. Here is a good article to read about it in more detail: http://pets.webmd.com/cats/guide/bad-breath-cats.
I wish I could brush all my cats’ teeth, but that would take all day. Lucy has bad breath ( don’t tell her that I told you) and I have had her teeth cleaned recently as well as labwork. She eats only canned food so I think that has something to do with it.
Now for the contest…this one is not cat oriented, but I thought some of our readers may be interested. I subscribe to Country Living Magazine and I just got a renewal to buy one get one free. If you want a year’s subscription for free from me then please comment today and I will announce the winner tomorrow. Sorry that this is only for U.S. residents.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day. I am off to the outlets with my mom and niece. I am hoping to find something at the Vera Bradley Outlet to have as a contest prize for next week.I wonder why Vera Bradley doesn’t have a cat print? They have birds, snails and elephants…
Mommy said so far, so good about my brefs. Time will tell. When I yawn real big she checks my teefs for tartar as quickly as she can before I snap my jaws closed!
I LOVE my two toys and I promise this is true I play wif them every day! I had the little cylinder one out today already. xxoo

Dezi
Dezi, you are entered in the contest. I am glad that Lexi is doing well, a little bad breath is not that bad as long as she is healthy. I love to give stuff away, no one leaves my house empty handed which is probably why I don’t get a lot of company ( actually I think I scared everyone off when I sadi we had fleas- they are mostly under control now).
So far we all have good breath! Mom says VB cat patterns would be pawsome!!
The Florida Furkids
We should start a write in campaign to suggest the cat pattern.
We have fresh kitty breath! 😀 Our mommy would like to be entered in the giveaway too! She’d love to read that magazine! Thank you for the opportunity!
I am teething right now and still don’t have some adult molars grown in yet, but when my permanent teeth have come in, my human says she is going to start working on my “dental health program!”
Your mom is smart, you can never start your dental health program too early. I hope the tooth fairy visits you Summer.
Angel Isis had a lot of tartar and her mouth smelled like hell ! She had bad teeth ; despite good care, she lost her teeth quickly, but everything went well after that : she had a healthy mouth again, and despite the lack of teeth, she was able to eat everything. Purrs
Sometimes I think cats would be healthier without teeth, Snowball lost hers from reabsorption and she is fine and never needs a cleaning.
