Hi everyone! We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop today and Rascal and Rocco’s Pet Parade. And I want to thank everyone that participated in the Friendly Fill-Ins, I enjoyed everyone’s answers.
First, I want to thank Brian and family of Brian’s Home. About 6 weeks ago I won some litter on their blog, we won a coupon for any Tidy Cats litter up to $12.99.
I chose the Lightweight and I used some in one box to test it. It does work very well. I also wanted my Mom to take the rest of the container for her cat. I think this lighter litter is especially good for her because of her arthritic hands. It is only 8.5 pounds compared to the usual 20 pound container.
Phoebe used ribbet today to design her art- she cropped a photo and added words to show her frustration of her slow-growing cat grass.
We were very sad to read that Toby’s cousin, Frankie lost his battle with cancer. Rest in peace, sweet boy:
Still Friday here but happy Caturday early! Congrats on winning the litter!
Thank you π
Phoebe is just too cute for words.
Who made Frankie’s badge? RIP.
I think Friendly Fill-Ins is fun. I am thankful for those joining us and their great answers…and for you, My Friend!
Phoebe says thank you, she never tires of hearing that.
Toby’s Mom made Frankie’s badge.
I am loving the Friendly Fill-Ins and getting to know everyone better. XO
Phoebe, you are right! But it’s hard not to check up on it.
Thank you π
It’s true Phoebe……no matter how hard you stare at that cat grass, it will take its’ time growing! Be patient!
Love, Sammy
Patience is no fun- phooey! XO and love to you too my friend Sammy.
Hi, Phoebe. Thank you so much for remembering Frankie. We will miss him so much.
On a different note – move would love to get us the lightweight litter but its a little pricey for her pocketbook! And isn’t it frustrating how grass just doesn’t grow fast enough??
Happy Caturday!! We love you all!!!
Yes, it is frustrating about the grass. And the litter is expensive, we use Walmart clay litter. XO and love to all of you from all of us.
Enjoy your litter!
Thank you π
Same goes for the watch pot when making tea, Phoebe … your better off to go find something to do for awhile … then you will be pleasantly surprised when you come back for a nice big bite of cat grass π
Andrea @ From the Sol
My Mom ended up buying me some that is taller π
Happy Caturday!! Don’t you love winning things!!
Yes, winning stuff is fun. Hope you had a great day.
Purrseidon came to full attention as I attempted to scroll past Phoebe’s pot of cat grass. Don’t know if she was looking at Phoebe, the cute pot or wondering why grass was in that pot… Hope you have a great weekend!
That is too funny- Purrseidon is very perceptive.
That litter looks and sounds like a great win! We know all about watching cat grass grow around here, Phoebe. We share your frustration, but we hope yours grows faster than fast for you! Purrs!
Luckily, my Mom bought me some. π
Cat grass goes from green to crunch brown around here.
The Florida Furkids
Same here, I just hope to enjoy some before that happens – MOL!
I bet you still enjoy your cat grass Phoebe!
I did have a little of this one.
Awww so cute she is.
Love the lightweight kitty litter. I so remember those heavy bags. Great idea.
Have a terrific day. Scritches to Phoebe. βΊ
Phoebe says thank you for the scritches π
Slow grass is so annoying, Phoebe..but on the other hand, better slow than nothing π Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend π <3
Mom bought me some yummy tall grass π
We always have trouble growing kitty grass here. And it never lasts long either!
Purrs xx
Athena and Marie
It never lasts around here either- Phoebe pulls it out by the roots.XO
Maybe you need a reserve pot while that one is growing, Phoebe. Concats on winning the litter.
Thank you Flynn. That is a smart idea, my Mom should start new pots of grass every few days so I am never without. XO
It’s always fun to win something in a contest. Congratulations. It’s a cool, wet Caturday here, but it’s Caturday, and that’s what matters.
I went to say good-bye to Frankie, but am unsure if my comment went through. I am thinking of him nonetheless.
That was kind of you to give condolences for Frankie. We do like winning things.
Good info on the lightweight litter we haven’t tried it yet. BEing 14..yo mom is hesitant to switch my litter. I have always had very good box manners mom doesn’t want to mess that up
Hugs madi your bfff
Good thinking on your Mom’s part- why reinvent the wheel? MOL!
I dunno, Phoebe – my favorite thing to watch is baseball, and many people compare that to watching grass grow. Or paint dry. Anyway, you are keeping it nicely trimmed!
My Dad always watches baseball and my Mom would prefer to watch paint dry or my cat grass grow π
Concatulations on winning the litter ! Happy Caturday ! Purrs
Thank you and purrs to you.
You do look like a very frustrated gardener, Phoebe MOL!!!
I am, good thing Mom bought me some taller grass today.
Poor Phoebe, yous can always stops by here and has some of mine. Mommy brings me home a fresh pot of wheat grass at least once a month!
And guys…mes can’t runs in the election…mes a Canadian, yous gots to bes born in the US to runs….too bad. So mes Smoke and Joe’s Campaign Manager!
Kisses
Nellie
Good point about the election π You are lucky to get grass so often. My Mom bought me some tall wheat grass today. XO
Phoebe, that grass is worth nomming. π
It is pretty tasty.
I guess like a watched pot never boils, watched grass doesn’t grow. Sorry Phoebe.
As soon as I stopped watching it, it grew.
Concats on the litter win!!
(MOL!)
That grass is slow here too…cause we mow (chew), it down too fast…but the outside grass is growing way too fast, OMC!
Thank you. Mom hides mine so it won’t get eaten all at once.
Happy Caturday! Hope it was a great one.
Thank you π
Wee are so sorry about Frankie goin to Pure Land an hope his furamillee will find peece soon…
