And here are my answers:

  1. Everyone should read WHATEVER THEY WANT, IT ALWAYS BOTHERED ME IN SCHOOL THAT CERTAIN BOOKS WERE ASSIGNED. AS LONG AS YOU ARE READING, IT IS A GOOD THING.
  2. My first CAR was A 1976 GREMLIN THAT HAD BEEN MY GRANDFATHER’s . I GOT MY LICENSE IN 1986 AND DROVE THAT FOR 2 YEARS- I HIT MANY THINGS WITH THAT LONG HOOD ( A FENCE, A TRUCK, OTHER BUMPERS)
  3. My favourite time of the day IS WHEN I FIRST WAKE UP, MY HUBBY BRINGS ME A COFFEE IN BED ( I AM SPOILED) , I DRINK IT AND BOND WITH SAMMY AND AY OTHER KITTIES THAT WANT TO VISIT.
  4. I think dreams KEEP US ALIVE BY GIVING US SOMETHING TO HOPE FOR.

    I agree, reading is important. just do it! I had friends who drove Gremlins in high school. One boyfriend had a Wrangler denim Gremlin. The interior was actually denim.   9. My first car was a Bobcat, that smoked so much I had a cop laugh at me and ask if I was spraying for mosquitoes! The day I discovered a library, and all the books on the shelves, was the day that my travels began.

    1. I have never heard of a Bobcat car, I need to look that up. 🙂

  10. I can’t even remember what books I was assigned to when I was in school. That forgettable I guess. Reading rocks though. I love a good book.

  12. You get coffee in bed each morning? Lucky you! I think everyone should read The Fur Person by May Sarton, because it’s a wonderful little book.

    1. That is a great choice, I loved that book and was disappointed that the author never wrote another book.

  13. Awesome questions and answers this week! 🙂 The best high school teacher I ever knew, worked in an impoverished area, and she filled her classroom with all kinds of books, every genre. Her students took up reading with a passion when they were able to choose books they liked! LOL at your experiences with the Gremlin. You are certain this was the car’s fault? :-)) They were hard to see over though, my married sister had one for awhile. Starting the morning snuggling with the kitties sounds just purrfect to me, that’s why I love my weekends off work! You have an awesome husband! You are right about dreams, we need dreams to keep our hope alive!

    1. I am very lucky, my hubby is sweet. I make sure cars I drive now have a short front- it was definitely my fault 🙂

  18. 🙂 my first car was a mustang that belonged to my grandmother; she sold it
    to me for what I thought at the time was an outrageous price; she drew up a contract and made me sign it, then I was to pay her X number of dollars either a week, or a month, so I could learn and understand payments and financing etc ♥♥♥ that car kicked ***….had it at 120 miles an hour on several occasions !! 🙂

  19. Thanks for hosting this fun blog hop. I would be in heaven if my husband brought me my morning coffee in bed. That is love and dedication. Regrettably, mine leaves before I get up so I have to make my own. But morning coffee time is my favorite.

  21. Great answers! It sounds as though your first car gave your parents a few headaches :p
    1.Everyone should at one time in their life, read a variety of books on a variety of subjects/genres. Even books that may not immediately entice them. That way, they may learn and grow beyond their familiar.
    2. My first pet was a cat named Tamus. He taught me that animals have souls.
    3. My favourite time of the day is early morning when I am on my bike and the world is quiet and possibility and hope fill my lungs.
    4.I think dreams can easily be misplaced when life above all else, is about survival.

    1.Everyone should read A STREET CAT NAMED BOB BECA– USE IT’S SUCH A GREAT BOOK.

    2. My first CAT GROWING UP was a CALICO NAMED KITTY.

    3. My favourite time of the day is WHEN I’M READING BEFORE BED,because I LOVE TO READ AND CARMINE AND MILITA LAY ON THE BED NEXT TO ME AND PURR CONTENTLY.

  26. I love books. I started going to the library with my father when I was in the first grade. I still go to the library for my fix of mostly fiction.

    1. That is nice that your father brought you to the library and got you interested in reading.

  27. A Gremlin…Yep we both had some real (classic) cars for our first one.
    I agree about reading what one feels like although I probably would never have read some of the books that I was assigned in school and missed out because some of them were actually enjoyable.
