Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
I am thankful for pussy willows. I am a fall/winter lover, but I do love pussy willows in the spring.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

I enjoy seeing your gathered pussy willows too! I don’t think we really have them here. Something we call Red Tips are starting to bloom but I’m not sure what the actual plant name is. XO
Thank you.

Oona: “Ooh, what are those things? They look like they would be fun for Oona to knock over and play with and chew on.”
Lulu: “I don’t think that’s what they’re meant for, Oona.”
Oona: “THEN WHY ARE THEY CALLED PUSSY WILLOWS?!”
Good question Oona. XO
We have some growing wild down the road from us, near the creek. But…their pollen is nort allowed to come into our house…achoo!
We picked pours just in time, the ones outside are pollen covered. XO

My late mother had an Oriental doctor long ago; she gifted him pussy willow sprigs and he said they are known in his culture as “kittens in a tree”. I wish I knew his country of origin, but isn’t that adorable? Hugs, my dear.
