Friendly Fill-Ins Week 348

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. I always forget to _________________________.
2. I never forget to ____________________.
3. Nothing makes me _________ more than _________.
4. It might sound outrageous, but I _________.
My answers:
1. I always forget to take the wash out of the washer.
2. I never forget to medicate my cats. Right now, Joanie is the only one on thyroid meds, but I never forgot any of Emmy’s 7 meds twice a day.
3. Nothing makes me angrier more than knowing about cats being mistreated.
4. It might sound outrageous, but I don’t like reading most books about cats. They usually start sad or end sad and I don’t like sad.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
And Friendship Friday hosted by Create with Joy.
This is one of the first photos I took of my beautiful angel Emmy in June 2017. I had been feeding her for quite a few weeks and finally lured her inside.

  1. Emmy sure was very pretty. I am glad you goot to have her come into your home. It added years to her life, I am sure.

    1. I always forget to get some of my chores done…too much more fun things to do, LOL!.
    2. I never forget to get the food ready for hubby too give to the dogs each day…He claims HE forgets how much each one is supposed to have. LOL!.
    3. Nothing makes me happier more than seeing some of my nonverbal peeps I care for a my work make big smiles at me or perhaps the therapy dogs or funny costumes we wear sometimes.
    4. It might sound outrageous, but I wish my one set of neighbors would be friendlier to our dogs…they are not abusive, but they ignore them and once in a while will yell at them to shut up… I do wish they would take some time to let the dogs know they are not enemies…sheesh, they have a dog of their own! The other set of neighbors will come to the fence and talk, pet them, etc. So they only bark in a greeting now..

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Sorry about the neighbors, that must be an uncomfortable situation. I know my niece’s dog barks, but once you say hi Nora to her, she calms down. XO

  2. That is a sweet photo of Emmy. I am the same with the washing. If I don’t take it out immediately it finishes I usually see it still sitting in the washer when I am ready for bed!

  3. Angel Emmy was gorgeous and how lucky she was to find your house and trust you all enough to become a housecat after being on her own for who knows how long. Thanks for hosting the fill-ins – it’s always fun!

    Hugs, Teddy and Pam

  4. I’m like that with all animal books too unless I know for sure there will be no “sad.” I did read Marley and Me and that was ok even though the dog died. He had such a great life.

  5. You are absolutely right about cat books; I approach every one with trepidation.
And when someone (co-worker or casual friend) discovers that you like cats, why do they always start off telling a horrific story?!?
I’ve learned to cut people off, to say I don’t want to hear a sad cat story.

  6. Morning Ellen and thank you for the direct link
I have a really loud buzzer and my washing machine and dryer. Both are so loud and ring several times. No way I can forget.
Angel Emmy sending lots of hugs OTRB to you and your siblings and friends
    Hugs cecilia

  7. 1. I always forget to keep on schedule most of the time. Retirement does that to you.
    2. I never forget to eat. I make wise choices anymore, but I never forget to eat.
    3. Nothing makes me stressed more than inconsiderate people.
    4. It might sound outrageous, but I don’t care for science fiction. Creepy to me.

Awww on Angel Emmy. I’m so happy you found each other.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ellen. Big hug to you and scritches to the kitties. xo ♥

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I don’t like Sci-fi either, but my hubby does so I end up seeing a lot of post apocalyptic crap. XO

  8. I only read mystery…detective cat type books about cats. If I think there are things harmful in there I won’t touch it. My eyes skim over Face Book because sometimes even from hope we know there are horrible pictures. My eyes can’t unsee these things.

  9. I’m with you on reading sad stories. Life holds enough sorrow. ~hugs~ Love, Darla

PS I don’t know how I suddenly managed to reach your blog. Trying again right after sending you an email seemed pointless, yet here I am. ~shakes head~ Weird.
