Friendly Fill-Ins Week 334

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. Every October, I __________________.
2. If I were going to a costume party, I would go as ______________________.
3. _________ is my favorite scary story.
4. I would _________ if there were a zombie apocalypse.
My answers:
1. Every October, I decorate the entire house inside for Halloween and I put a few things outside.
2. If I were going to a costume party, I would go as a crazy cat lady- I guess I wouldn’t even have to buy a costume.
3. Little Red Riding Hood is my favorite scary story.  I love Halloween, but I don’t go much for scary. I prefer fun and whimsical things.
4. I would know I was having a nightmare if there were a zombie apocalypse. 🙂
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

My flashback is from October 2019, Angel KaTwo dressed as a witch.
And we want to wish a very Happy Birthday to my mom ( the kitties’ Grammie) !

  1. Angel KaTwo is adorable! I agree, I love the fun, light-hearted stuff at Halloween, but the scary stuff, not so much. XO

  2. Happy Birthday to your Mom!!

    1. Every October, I hope it goes fast, since I almost hate Halloween, and I also hope I don’t have to work on that day. This year I am off, phew!.
    2. If I were going to a costume party, I would go as a minstrel/musician…then at least I could try and put some of the instruments here in our house to work. (Though I might need a helper to carry them all!)
3.I do not have a favorite scary story; though some of thew Biblical stories are scary at first. As in Daniel in the Lion’s Den, etc.
    4. I would run fast if there were a zombie apocalypse…but like you, I would realize its not anything real.

    1. Thank you for the birthday wishes for my mom and for your excellent fill-in answers. Glad you got Halloween off. I agree some of the stories in The Bible are scary. XO

  3. HAHA, Crazy Cat Lady is so funny but we think you are one of the sanest anthros we know!!! And lately, there seem to be fewer what with all the politics going on. Truss trussed up, a struggle for true democracy in the USA against REALLY crazy ideas and “Putain” still at large….you are sane, Ms E, truly sane.

  4. Your answers are excellent, i’m not much for the really scary stuff, either.

Like you, i’d be rather useless in some kind of zombie attach, maybe i could distract the critters while the young, healthy people get away.

    1. Sorry, i didn’t proofread, that should be “attqck” not attach.

Also i’m in a hurry so i almost forgot, tell Grammie i wish her many happy returns of the day!

  5. Love your fill-ins. Cat lady. I can see that.

    Love seeing Angel KaTwo.

**nose kissess** BellaDharma an **giggellss from under THE bed** BellaSita Mum

    1. Thank you. I enjoyed Bella Sita’s answers. She clearly likes scary stories. My great-aunt let me watch Salem’s Lot when I was a kid and I slept with the blanket over my neck until about 5 years ago ( when hot flashes started). 🙂 I need to go through my card list too and it is going to be depressing. XO

      1. Mew mew mew “SALEM’S LOT” iss allso one of BellaSita’ss fave moviess!
An Mistur James Mason all reefined an yet a furry scarey man….
An wee two had to reemove many namess from Catmass/Chanukkah card list **sighss**

  9. Happy Birthday to Grammie! I am not a big fan of Halloween… sorry Ellen. But I think KaTwo is adorable, My Fill-Ins…

    1. Every October, I remember the ridiculous things we did on Halloween eve.
    2. If I were going to a costume party, I would go as myself. I hated dressing up.
    3. _________ is my favorite scary story, Don’t like scary stories.
    4. I would laugh if there were a zombie apocalypse.
    Thank you for the Fill-Ins!

  10. I don’t like scary Halloween costumes, either. When our kids were younger I dressed them in cute outfits. The world in truth is a scary place and while children are little I think we need to protect them from that truth for as long as we can. I don’t decorate for Halloween but I do sit out some fall mums and a pumpkin near our front porch. That’s about it.

  11. Fantastic fill-ins, as always! I’m a lot like you with my Halloween decorations. I try to make it look like Halloween and Christmas threw up inside my house, while my yard has mostly just a few things here and there. In the future I’d actually love to go all out in my yard for Halloween and Christmas, but storing outdoor holiday decor is not all that fun, so I don’t know how that’ll go. And I really like that you put Little Red Riding Hood for #3. I’ve always enjoyed the concept of this story, and I agree that fun and whimsical is the way to go. Angel KaTwo was such an adorable little witch! And a very happy (belated) birthday to Grammie!
