Thankful Thursday on Christmas Eve

Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop . I am thankful to everyone who sent us e-cards and snail mail cards. I appreciate each and every one of you. I am also thankful I got to see The Great one and her little sister open their gifts from us and my mom.

We are also joining  Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Teddy’s mom:

They wanted to see the man in the red suit

even though mom said go to bed, now scoot.

All the cookies and milk made them fall asleep

so when Santa came they didn’t hear a peep.
I am also thankful to my saint of a hubby who dresses as Santa every year for the cats. Here are this year’s photos.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two. We realize many are busy with Christmas, but the link stays open until Wednesday so you can always do them later.

    1. I don’t know really what the best gift I have ever given. The kids could probably say. Unless it is my compassion to others.

    2. Last night, I enjoyed time with my son from over the mountains and loved seeing him and Katie cuddling in the recliner.

    3. Family and the meaning of Christmas brings me joy today and tomorrow.

    4. My favorite Christmas memory is the last time my Dad was able to be here with us on his vacation trip. Coincidentally, it snowed 8 inches Christmas eve night.

  3. Awww, the kitties look so cute sitting with daddy Santa! Finally, I am receiving email notifications for your site. They disappeared for a while! Go figure.
