Wordy Wednesday

Hi, sorry we are not wordless today. We are joining In Purrsuit of Flavours hosted by Easy and The Canadian Cats.

I hope you are not sick of me, but all the other kitties get vacation time except me because I am the newest.

The theme this month is whatever kind of recipe you want- a favorite to have during the summer. Mom picked this one because it is super easy and you won’t heat your kitchen up cooking it.

Peach Chicken-

1 package Stove Top Stuffing -chicken flavored

1 jar of peaches, canned ones have a tin taste

1 cup chicken breast, chopped into small pieces.  ( You can use a precooked rotisserie one or any leftovers, my Dad bbq’s a bunch at once and freezes them to use in salads and stuff like this).

2 T butter

1 1/4 cup water ( mom uses the peach juice and adds water to make up the difference)

Directions-

Heat water/peach juice and butter in saucepan until butter melts. Then add stuffing mix. Let sit 5 minutes then stir in chicken and peaches and heat on low briefly.

That is all- only takes a few minutes and goes well with a salad. Be sure to share the chicken with your kitties.

One more thing- you all figured out the mystery yesterday- it was paint from the camper project, mom didn’t put down enough newspaper.
