Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! Thank you to all who commented yesterday that they are not sick of me. Good thing because here I am again.

Sorry I am lying down on the job, but I am plumb tuckered. Mom is thankful that she scored another 20 pack of toilet paper. They still have a lot left, but it seems like there could be shortages again.

I am joining  Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt provided by Teddy’s mom ( it is my first poem)-

A poem I’ve been told to write

or Penny will give me a bite.
If a  flower can grow through a tiny crack
then perhaps I can drive a cadillac.
.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. My plans for the weekend include ____________________.
2. I ________________fireworks.
3. I’m grateful I have the freedom to _________.
4. _________ make(s) a house a home.

  1. That’s a good poem to me! I love Cadillacs! Our first car was one lol Laying down on the job is best during the summer!

  2. At this point, my human has enough toilet paper to last her into 2022… and it’s not because she was intentionally hoarding. I’ll be blogging about why in a few weeks. 😉

  3. Hey cutie Rosie, the TP is always something the humans are on the lookout for these days. Cute poem too. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  4. I was tuckered out yesterday too. You look much better at being tuckered than I did.

Love the poem. I’ll get you a caddy if you want to drive.

I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins. Great questions.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. My best to your siblings and your wonderful mom. ♥

  5. That was a fun poem! I will never get sick of seeing your photos, especially when I get to see that sweet tum!

  6. It’s totally fine to be lying down on the job when you are so adorable 🙂
Love the poem. So fun and smart!

  7. Cut poem! I wouldn’t recommend trying to drive, though. Maybe Joanie and Gremmie can hook their camper to *you* as their means of getting around. ~grin~ Would you be up for the challenge? ~hugs~

    1. Thank you. I don’t like that idea one bit- I am too little to pull a camper. 🙂

    1. Sorry about that, I am trying to fix the problem. Not sure why everyone;s comments went to SPAM.

  8. We decided to keep some extra toller paper as well. This Corona shortage really taught us a lesson, you never know how stupid other people will behave.
    Have a wonderful day!

  9. Tried to reply to Summer but was told comment was SPAM.
Loved the poem and you have a lot to be thankful for.
The Corona Virus is getting worse and worse again.
Have a good Fourth Of July.

    1. Thank you. We are trying to stay in and we always wear a mask when we go out. Stay safe. XO

  10. Just checking. Comments coming up as Spam for some reason.
Love your poem and we don’t mind you laying down.
Scoring a 20 pack of toilet paper is something to be thankful for.

    1. Sorry about that, I am trying to fix the problem. Glad you like my poem 🙂

  11. Rosie, do you feel our Mom giving your tummy a rub-a-dub-dub?

We enjoyed your poem. We see flowers coming out of cracks sometimes too.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

    1. We love ALL YOUR POSTS and will be reading them a lot. Thanks a bunch for being a great friend and we love your Cats too.

  12. MOL! We always lie down on the job. That *is* our job!

We are still set in the paper goods department but Mom still cannot find Lysol (liquid cleaner) to save her life. We’re in a panic* because the only thing she uses it for is for washing out the litter box! If some moron hadn’t suggested folks start drinking the stuff, maybe we wouldn’t be in this predicament.

*Mom says she can use a bit of Nature’s Miracle instead and all should be well. Phew!

  13. The big question on our minds is: who might be able to drive that Cadillac…Rosie or Mom Ellen? MOL! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  14. Just tried to comment and got a message that my comment was spam! Don’t know what that’s about. Anyhoo, we were wondering who might be driving that Cadillac if one appeared? Mom Ellen or Rosie? XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

    1. Sorry about the spam, everyone got that yesterday. I deactivated a plugin and it is fine now. xO

  15. HA!!! Love the poem and if that little flower can grow in the asphalt then ANYTHING is possible!!!! Hope you get a Cadillac of your very own (hahaha).

    Hugs, Teddy

  16. No one is ever sick of your beautiful face. Please leave the driving to the people, we build the cars the wrong shape for cat drivers. Now i’m going to wonder what we would have to do to modify cars for pets to be able o drive them!

  17. Ah…dreams of a sweet flower…MOL…Very cute poem and so are you, sweet girl. We can’t get enough of you, so keep on posting😺Extra Pawkisses🐾😽💞

    1. Thank you. She loves tummy rubs. We fear shortages because cases keep rising in most of the country. Stay safe. XO

  18. Hello again, pretty Rosie! A 20-pack of toilet paper is a jackpot these days. Do any of you kitties play with toilet paper when it’s on the roll? If I’m not careful, Eddy will. And your poem is so purrfect and fun!
