The A-Z Blogging Challenge-I

Hi everyone! I have looking forward to the letter I for The A-Z Blogging Challenge so I can do some shameless self promotion on Emmy’s book, I Am Not a Skunk. To purchase it on Amazon, click here.

Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link ( see below) to the hop so everyone can visit you.

1. I am never ______________________.
2.For Easter ( or Passover) this year, I will _________________________________.
3. I would want the Easter Bunny to leave me a basket filled with _________.

          4. When times get tough, _________.

My answers:

  1. I am never bored. Being home all the time doesn’t bother me, there is always something to do.
  2. For Easter this year, I will make dinner for my mom and hubby. It was my year to have my niece and her family, but that is on hold for now until this is all over.

3. I would want the Easter Bunny to leave me a basket filled with kittens. And some antibacterial hand gel.

4. When times get tough, hug your cat -unless your cat doesn’t like that 🙂

Praying you all stay healthy and sane through this awful time.

We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

  1. Whoa! I wouldn’t mind a basket filled with treats! Bring it on! Stay safe and healthy.

  2. Ahhh, hope you sell lots of those books! Emmy would love that!

    1. I am never tired of the things I do for hobbies, like blogging , making pictures for others, and my furry ones…not to mention the work I do and the family.
    2. For Easter ( or Passover) this year, I will be at home with hubby..as I had scheduled a vacation weekend ages ago….no sons are coming as they live out of town, so we will chat on the phone. We will go to Church services via You Tube/Facebook…
    3. I would want the Easter Bunny to leave me a basket filled with calorie free chocolate…as if…and like you some hand cleanser and maybe some more N95 masks.
    4. When times get tough, I put on my big girl pants and try to hang in there…and I pray and gather others to be a support system, cause if I find something tough, there are also other who do too.

    1. Thank you for these great fill-in answers. Glad you get the weekend off, but sorry you won’t get to se your sons. Praying is the best thing to do in tough times- or any time. XO

  3. I won “I Am Not A Skunk” in an auction and it is a lovely book.
Those are all good fill ins. Both being retired we are used to being home and finding plenty to do. We are missing our short B&B breaks though.
That is another sweet flashback photo.

  4. Hugging a cat is great therapy, and i have enjoyed your books and recommend them. Have a fabulous Friday!

  5. My mum is never bored either. She loves staying at home and being with me! Creative minds always find something to do. She is no extrovert so maybe that helps too!

  6. Both of your books are sweet fun reads for any age! Yes to kittens in a basket and also antibacterial hand gel. The gel is my answer to #1. Flashback Easter 2015 photo is sweet to see. My Fill-Ins…
    1. I am never going to be caught without antibacterial hand gel again. SSNS uses it and we have not been able to find it since January. SSNS scored some Wednesday.
    2. For Easter (or Passover) this year, I will make bacon wrapped chicken breasts with mushroom sauce in the the crock pot.
    3. I want the Easter Bunny to leave me a basket of homemade noodles and mashed potatoes.
    4. When times get tough, I go quiet.
    Thank you, Ellen!

    1. Thank you 🙂 And thank you for these great fill-in answers. .
Glad you scored some hand gel. Your Easter meal sounds great. I hope you have a wonderful Easter despite this awful virus. XO

  7. Love your fill-ins and we both want hand sanitizer. I added toilet paper to that basket.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  8. Oh a basket full of kittens! Wouldn’t that be FUNNNNNNN and ever so much more practical than an egg for heaven’s sake. HAHA We would highly recommend Emmy’s book – a sweet read! Glad you will have your Mom with you for Easter dinner. David and I will have our own little celebration for Easter.

    Hugs, Pam and Ted too

  9. Awwww,,,,,a basket full of kittens would be wonderful!! Mom is doing curbside pickup for Easter since it doesn’t make sense to make a big meal for one person.

  10. She looks so sweet. ~grin~ Best wishes to you, my dear. ~hugs~ Be well.

Oh, and don’t feel bad about missing the toad in my picture yesterday. Seeing the creature in real life made him or her much easier to spot. Heh… I added a red circle to another image posted today.

  11. Sweet kitty photos ~ especially with the Easter basket ~ fun fill-ins ~ ^_^

    Be Well,

  12. I totally agree with #4–I am the only boy who loves a hug from my mom.

    ~Ivan.

  13. Aw sweet photos. I like your answer about hugging your cat. That’s what I’ve been doing a lot of lately. Teddy likes to snuggle and be hugged. Take care and stay safe.

  14. That is a wonderful promotion for your lovely book, Emmy. Granny and I loved it! You all get a big hug from us…I like that…MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie…always🙏🐾😽💞

  15. I have not been able to find antibacterial hand gel anywhere!
Perhaps the Easter bunny can deliver, though 😉

  16. Thank you for the great questions for Friendly Fill Ins. I loved your answers. Kittens are so sweet. Sigh….my big boy hates hugs but he lets me pat his head gently. HaHa We were planning a beautiful brunch with our son and his phamily too. But best to stay safe. We will enjoy quiet times and a small dinner for the five of us.
Take care, stay safe, be healthy and especially be blessed. HUGS across the miles.

  17. Oh my whiskers, we love the title of your book. The Tribe will have to have the human get it for us!
    Purrs & Head Bonks,

  18. Such great fill ins. Phoebe and Lucy look terrific…I like the way Phoebe is looking at the basket…mol

    Shoko

  19. Love your books! I don’t mind more time at home either. I think women especially can always find things to do.

  20. Have a safetanfastical Easter and an eggtastic time I liked your fill-ins too 🙂

  21. I am usually good at keeping busy too. I was doing better when the weather was nice though! These cold and dreary days I find it harder to be motivated.

  22. I’m totally with you! I don’t mind being home. I always find something to do. As for hugging cats, one of mine loves it, the other…not so much 🙂

  23. Ellen,

I’m not bored either. Life is about the same for me for the most part, except DH is working from home right now and that’s actually a good thing. I like having him him. 🙂 It’s good to put traditional Easter plans on hold. A family get together after the pandemic is a good idea for everyone. Unfortunately, I still see on the news some stupid things people are doing. Their hearts are in the right place but seriously you got to use your head folks! Stay healthy and thanks for visiting checking out my latest A2ZPinup Girl Art Sketch Series post! 😉

  24. I love Emmy’s book! I love Prancie’s book, too. I’ll love any book you publish. And fantastic fill-ins! I’m like you and never get bored. I have enough furbabies, hobbies, and chores that there’s never a dull or empty moment at my house. And you are so right about #4. There’s nothing a kitty hug can’t fix. Luckily, most of the kitties at my house will tolerate at least a short hug. The primary exception is Winky. She’s definitely not a hugger. Purrs!

    1. Awww..thank you. Sorry Winky doesn’t like hugs, she is so cute, I would be trying to hug her all the time.

  25. I have downloaded I Am Not A Skunk and it is GLORIOUS! I can’t wait to show it to my little nephews. I will write a review soon. It will be under the name louisefrank xxx
