Wordless Wednesday

Before we get started, we want to give our condolences to The Island Cats on the loss of sweet Wally.  To visit, click here.

I recently discovered that with Comcast, I can put youtube videos for cats on the tv screen.

My cats love this one- funny thing, my hubby was mesmerized by it too. There are a bunch of squirrels, including a black one and a white one too.

This one is Trouble’s favorite, but she gets too rough with the tv.

  1. The only thing my human ever seems to have on the TV is people jumping around to cheesy music. And she tries to mimic their moves, with various levels of success/ failure. She needs to put on some TV for us!

  2. Best cat TV ever. Love watching them watch. It breaks our hearts about Wally. He was a great ginger and a terrific friend and Cat Scout. XOCK, Kitties Blue

  3. So cool to see it all in a cinema, kitties…and hubby? I like to watch the mice too, but I have to look at it on my tablet. We were broken hearted again when we got the message about Wally last night? Soft Pawkisses also for you miss Ellen ???

  4. The squirrel video is way cool but I’m afraid our TV wind up on the floor if we played a mouse or BIRD one for Teddy!

    Hugs, Pam

  5. I am very sad about Wally. Floki is our TV watcher and I sometimes put on a YouTube video for him. He doesn’t usually attack the TV but he does follow the action.

  6. Rip, sweet Wally! Every now and then, our cat will watch TV usually when there is a lot of movement. She’s not picky about what she watches.

  7. We were so sad to hear about sweet Wally. 🙁

Luke loves to watch TV, but way too much…he gets excited about any animals, or even people who dance around! I can’t remember if we’ve ever had a cat who watched TV much; most of our TV’s are high up now and not at cat height. 🙂

  8. What fun for the kitties. Kitty television is most fun. Okay, it is for your hubby too.

So sad about Wally. We put his graphic in our angels.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Wordless Wednesday. My best to your peeps. ♥

  9. Ellen,

I’m sorry to hear the mews of Wally taking that trip across the Rainbow Bridge. Saying prayers for the humans.

Do you know what I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black squirrel before? That little guy is really cute, too. I bet the kitties go crazy watching that video, huh?

  10. When I watch my nature shows, Da Boyz get all jazzed! Which amuses The Hubby and I, since Angel and Chuck never paid attention to the screen. I love the way squirrels curl their tails up over their backs and heads when eating.

  11. That is funny seeing pictures of your Meowing Crew watching videeohs! They seem very interested. What a great idea! Trouble is right up front and personal… Haha!
I like the squirrel videeoh… 🙂 Ellen, you are such a loving, considerate Cat Mom!

  12. I could watch those squirrels all day. They’re soothing, somehow. Our cats couldn’t have cared less when I tried playing a DVD for them years ago. But when our dear angel Luna heard birds through my song identification CDs, she would go wild. That former stray was a great provider when allowed out on the prowl. I’m so sorry about Wally. Be well, my dears.

  13. guyz…thanx for sharin de linx heer….we watched a bout a minit oh moovee number one N for reezonz ewe noe what we meen we will stix with number two !!! 🙂 🙂 ♥♥

  14. I was just going to say it might be too tempting for the kitties to watch a bunch of squirrels or birds or a mouse. Dexter loved to watch the free Allegra TV screensaver which was green meadows and flowers.

  15. Out of the three cats, Teddy is the only one that sits and watches tv. Fast movement, especially car chases really get him.

  16. That’s great! I saved the video to put on later. One time I did put swimming fish on my tablet and put it on the ground for the cats and they went crazy!

  17. We’re sad about Wally’s passing, too.

Ava likes those squirrel videos a lot. She watches them on the Kindle Fire. HER Kinldle Fire, that is. 🙂

  18. Admiral used to LOVE videos. Mom bought her the Cat Sitting one and Admiral would ark on a chair right in front of the screen and just be so absorbed the living room could have disappeared and she’d never notice. She LOVED the birds and squirrels.

  19. That is great! Pierre watched the very last part of the American Rescue Dog Show the other night and softly barked at the dogs. He usually likes tv so maybe he is part cat!

  20. First of all, I apologize if I ever repeat a comment. Sometimes I’m just certain I commented on your blog, but then later I can’t find it. I’ll blame it on my technologically challenged self.

Anyway, you kitties are watching the best TV shows ever! I’ve never tried putting YouTube on my TV, but I should try. Thimble loves watching things on the TV, so I think she would love that. Purrs!

  21. Ms Ellen – Mom has Comcast, but doesn’t know how to do the video thing. Would you please tell her? Make it simple or our human brother will have to do it. Thank you. Purrs Snoops and Kommando Kitty
