  1. No decorations yet? Do you mean you always have a pine tree in your living room? Your black cat is very pretty — Nice accent!

  2. I can’t wait to see how this test turns out. Our Little Bit knocked a few decorations off the first year and after that she left the tree and ornaments alone. Cats are a different story.

Have a purrfect Wordless Wednesday. My best to your mom. ♥

  3. Soon enough, Trouble, that tree will be shiny and sparkly and oh so tempting. If you’re anything like Eddy and Tonks, you’re going to love it. I’m lucky that my tree climbers seem to know to stay at the center of the tree, and so even with 3 years of tree climbing craziness, no trees have been thrown to the ground at our house. We of course keep all ornaments off of the trees nonetheless, but I still consider myself lucky that the trees always remain standing. Purrs!

    1. So far she is behaving. I think she will play with ornaments, but they are all unbreakable.

  4. Very cool, but isn’t it a bit too tall? It looks like it’s scrunching over… yep I’d give it an ol’ test-a-roo as my dad use to say! hahaha Looks great though cuz I love a big ol’ tree and lotsa ornaments… of course sparkly cool ones and funny ones! Have fun. I can’t wait until we get to that point to put up the tree. We’re still putting lights on the window first! Have a great day!

      1. Definitely get hubby in on the act… so if something doesn’t go right or gets broke (heaven forbid), you can blame it on him!!! hahahahaha Have a great day my friend!

  5. Our tree is pre-lit, but it too went decoration-less for a few days. Mom says she does what she can when she can:)

    1. Same here, I do a little at a time- after hubby checks the lights and spreads the branches 🙂

  6. We’ll be in the same boat this year with our young cat. This is the first Christmas with us. I have a feeling she’ll be climbing the tree as soon as we put it up! LOL Hope it all turns out well on your end!

  7. Ooh that looks like the purr-fect spot to launch yourself into the xmas tree! I hope Mom puts our tree closes to the armoire like yours is! Winky winks.

  8. Charlee: “Hmm … We think you can make that jump.”
Chaplin: “It’s a little bit tricky because the ceiling is so close to the launch point, so you have to kind of aim downward, like towards the middle of the tree.”
Charlee: “Right! And then you can climb back up to the top of the tree, because whoever’s on top of the tree, wins.”

  9. I try to keep the tree as a usual as possible…and its out for a while before I ‘do’ anything with out. Minko used to lie in wait to ‘attack’ it…as did some of the others before him…I had a tree climber too, AngelSimba and Toki tried it too.
This year I am worried the Dalton might try something with any tree in reach. He already snagged a little hat I put on a ‘shelf’ doggy.
