This is Ethel. Her colors are similar to Rosie’s. Ethel has decided it is fun to play laser and red string with us. The other night, she grabbed the string and took it upstairs to her room. I immediately took it back for safety reasons. Big step for a feral cat.

Daisy Mae and Crystal
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Yay, progress! But of course, you know how to do it on the cat’s terms. I’m sure Ethel will come out of her shell fully when she is ready.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
That is very good news that Ethel is learning to play.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Ethel is mighty pretty.
Maybe she does not understand that toys will always be available to her .
She will figure that out soon. Good to take the string away…safety first!
Purrs, Julie
Thank you. 🙂 She has a lot of toys in her room, but I guess she really liked the string. 🙂
That’s great that Ethel is interacting with you all out of her “safe room”…….she wanted to have that string as HER toy didn’t she! LOL
Hugs, Teddy
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, she did, but I was afraid she would eat it. XO
Oh, I hope Ethyl is coming around and feeling more comfortable in her new home.
Thank you. 🙂 She is, now if I could get Bridget to do the same. XO
Maybe Ethyl will be a good example for Bridget.
I am hoping.
Go Ethel!!!

Slowly, but yes, progress. XO
She has beautiful coloring. They sure do love the laser and strings, don’t they?
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, they do.
The fact that she can relax enough to play tells me she’s starting to feel secure with you. Excellent progress!

Both Manny and CB carry their ribbon toys around, usually dropping them at their human’s feet!
That is sweet. 🙂
