Happy Thursday everyone!Phoebe here reporting from under the covers.010

I have had a rough week, Tuesday night we had heavy rains and then yesterday Mom decided to use the vacuum. Shouldn’t there be a law that if it rains, you can’t use the vacuum for a week? Mom and Dad keep telling me that we aren’t supposed to get rain, but I don’t believe it.

I haven’t seen my Grammie since Sunday. I love her so very much, I hope she visits soon.

My Purrince and I have been keeping in touch and we are already planning our Halloween costumes. It is never to early to plan for Halloween. He has a new nickname for me too, his little buttercup- isn’t that sweet?

  2. I’m sorry that you had to deal with all of that rain and vacuuming. Hopefully things will calm down soon 🙂 I am definitely praying for Milita. Her illness has to be so hard on both her and her mom.

  4. Wow, you have had a rough week, Phoebe! I would not mind some rain here, even though we had just a little – it would be nice if you could send some of yours our way!

    1. We had thunder too, but it is the rain I am scared of because I hide even when it doesn’t thunder. I think all homes with cats should not have vacuums.

  7. Phoebe you’re right – there should be a law against rain and vacuuming being allowed on the same day. Too much noise and scariness all at once is BAD for we delicate cats!!! Today is laundry day at my house and we don’t have rain in the forecast so all I have to do is hope that Mom does NOT decide to get the monster out a day early. I plan for Friday hiding NOT Thursday hiding from the monster!

    1. At least you know when your Mom is going to use the vacuum, mine is very random. And right after she uses that, she uses a noisy spot cleaner – sure, it is to clean up vomit spots from us but does it have to be so loud? Hugs to you too my friend Sammy.

  9. Awww, Phoebe, Lita doesn’t like the thunder, either. Lita is hiding as well today as she is never sure when her medication is coming. Poor Lita. We appreciate your purrs and prayers so very much!!

    We hope it doesn’t rain for a while there, Phoebe, so you can feel safe again. *hugs*

    1. None of my other kitties mind rain, just Phoebe.Most mind the vacuum though 🙂

    1. Phoebe was out all day then took to the bed after supper. I think she is cold from the air conditioner, but we need it for the humidity. XO

        1. Yes, she did 🙂 SHe gave me treats and my Dad did twice and MOm did once- it was a great day. Paw kisses and nose kisses to my sweet handsome fella.

  19. We’ve been getting a lot of rain too! What’s up with that?! And we definitely agree – if it rains, vacuums should be banned for AT LEAST a week, maybe more. Can’t wait to see your Halloween costumes!!

    1. I wish we could send it to the parts of the country that need it. We are still thinking about those costumes.

  21. We have rain issues here too, Phoebe. Mainly the fact that it came down so hard Tuesday night we ended up with lots of it in our basement! So exciting that you’re planning for Halloween already…my second favorite time of the year 🙂
