The A-Z Blogging Challenge- Q

Hi everyone! Before we get started, we want to give our condolences to Ann of Zoolatry for the loss of  her beautiful kitty, Zoey. To visit her blog, click here.

We are up to the letter Q inThe A-Z Blogging Challenge.

Back in 2016, I wrote about The World Is Still Your Litter Box by Quasi. To read that post, click here.

This time I am reviewing, Einstein and Moo and The Quest for Catnip by Jennifer Milius. It is book 3 in the children’s book series. I paid $4.99 for the Kindle version. The illustrations are cute, but I am mad at myself for spending that much on a 24 page book that had more words in the description on the cover than in the entire book. I was desperate for a Q book though.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww Monday Blog Hop  and

The Quilting Patch Applique Blog’s A-Z linkup.

    1. I don’t remember that, but back then I wasn’t looking for kiddie lit.

  1. I was very sad to hear about Zoey.
I thought you would have a problem with the letter Q, but you cracked it!

  2. Good for YOU with Q! Had to laugh at your comment about the description of the book having more words than the book!

  3. YAY for finding a “Q”! That wasn’t easy………..!

    Hugs and Happy Monday, Teddy

  4. I’m so sorry about Zoey. 🙁 And it’s always disappointing when a book isn’t what we expected. I’ve got a record number of unfinished books on my kindle. Even a biography of Jimmy Stewart proved a bit of a letdown. Ah, well. Take care, my fellow hermit!

    1. Sorry the Jimmy Stewart biography was a letdown. I find autobiographies and memoirs read better, biographies remind me of history books. 🙂

  5. Ellen,

‘Q’ is a hard alphabet character to come up with ideas for the challenge. Too bad you were disappointed with your book choice. $4.99 seems a bit steep for Kindle or any digital book, especially one with so few pages. Oh well…you live and learn, right? I was sorry to read of the Zoe’s making the rainbow bridge crossing. Saying prayers!

  6. You’re working your way to the end of the alphabet. Doing a find job too.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to all your siblings and lots of love to your mom. ♥

  7. That’s too bad that the book wasn’t as good as you’d hoped. I’ve been disappointed a few times too. Take care.

  8. I’m so sorry to hear about Zoey. Sending warm thoughts to her family.
Too bad the book was a little too short for the price. But illustration does look cute 🙂

  9. We never heard of that series. More books for mom to put on her list!

  10. We bet some of the grands would love to read some of these kitty books. Thanks for sharing all these great reads.

  11. Sad news about Zoey.
I’ve been having a difficult time finding good books to read, but that might just be me being too picly. It’s too bad you weren’t completely happy with your Q book.

  12. I can imagine how hard finding a Q book would be. Good job finding one even if it wasn’t what you expected.

  13. Those books look marvellous, miss Ellen😸Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞

  14. Q can be such a tricky letter to work with. You sure found a cute book to go with it, though!

  15. Oh, Dear, I am late, and I did not know about Zoey. How sad. I shall have to get over there ASAP.

Sorry you were not thrilled with the book because of the price being too much for the contents. Phooey. But like you said…you needed a Q!
