The A-Z Blogging Challenge- F

Hi everyone ! Sorry that Rosie won’t be doing her nosey tips this month and Penny is taking the month off too while I participate in the A-Z Blogging Challenge.Β  Today’s letter is F. Back in 2016 when I wrote about books for the challenge, IΒ  wrote about The Story of Fester the Cat. To read about that book, click here.Β

And for this year, I recommend two books by our blogging friends, Feline O’Pines.Β

Feline opines : God from a Feline Point of View by Anita Aurit is their first book. This is a 36 page devotional for cat lovers. Each of the 5 cats takes turns reflecting on Scripture that pertains to animals. I am loving this book and enjoy reading a page a day and reflecting on it during this Lenten season.

Their latest book is Feline OPine On Etiquette: What Humans Need To Know About Guests, Cat Sitting And Furniture and I am enjoying this one too. I love their advice, especially Lily reminding visitors to always check before they sit down if there is a lump because it is probably her. πŸ™‚

    1. Agreed! πŸ™‚ On another note, I must say I feel rather sorry for Chris the cat. It seems his human male could have stood up to his wife’s choices now and again, perhaps preventing the chaos from what seems to me at least one pointless move from apartment to apartment. And 88 breaths to his fellow nap-mate’s 11 (!) with no follow-on vet checkup(?!). Come on, dude. It wouldn’t necessarily have cost hundreds of dollars. And trading cats like baseball cards is just wrong. That family needs a visit from Jackon Galaxy. πŸ™‚ I’m still enjoying many of the antics, though, so thanks again for recommending the book. ~hugs~ Be well!

  1. Yes, you must always watch out for the lump before sitting down. Eric had several close calls.

  2. What fun books! Thanks for sharing them with us.

  3. Sounds like some great reads.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. β™₯

  4. I have “Feline OPine On Etiquette” in my cat book stash! Don’t think I’ve read it yet, however…hehehe!

  5. Penny you can work on a huge collection of ideas for penny pinching.
    Hugs Cecilia

  6. This is such a wonderful book you’re sharing today. I just love the idea of kitties helping us reflect on Scripture pertaining to animals. And the book on etiquette sounds just as wonderful. At our house, if you see a lump under a blanket, it’s almost certainly Tonks. Purrs!

  7. Meowza!
Thank you for recommending our books, we apurreciate it!

  8. I think the devotional book would be really good for someone like me that needs a little motivation to reflect on the Scriptures. What better way than with 5 Cats! The etiquette book would be fun.

  9. I did the unthinkable the other day, I disturbed a sleeping cat! I did not look down when I went to my office chair and I pulled off the blanket I had left strewn on it. My kitty Amber gave me the cold shoulder for the rest of the morning. Looking down is important advice πŸ˜€

  10. Those are two books we’ve been wanting to read! Now we can’t wait.

  11. Those sure would be a different and fun kind of read!

We have sat (almost) on a cat or two over the years…MOL!
