Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
I am thankful that Trouble is behaving with the Christmas tree. Everyone was interested at first, but they got bored with it quickly.
Here is our poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day based on this photo:
She found a message in a bottle
it was a letter signed by Aristotle.
The water looked grim,
but off to the castle she did swim.
The king was happy and rewarded her,
he sent her away with gold and myrhh.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and our co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. I love buying gifts for ____________________.
2. I have a hard time finding a gift for ____________________.
3. It’s the most wonderful time _________.
4. There’s no place like _________ for the holidays.
I’m glad things are working out with the tree!
Thanks, me too 🙂
Good thing the kitties are leaving the tree alone 😉
The poem is pretty cool!

Thank you. XO
Oh wow! Love the poem….I wouldn’t mind getting some gold for Christmas – maybe I’ll add that to my list. Not sure about the myrhh though!!! Glad the Christmas tree isn’t exciting enough to climb. Tee Hee
Hugs, Teddy
That would be nice 🙂 XO
Good kitties for not bother the tree too much. The poem is so good. You all have a great day.
Thank you. I hope you had a good day too. XO
That was a terrific poem and I’m sure glad everyone is treating the Christmas Tree nicely! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you for hosting 🙂
Lovely poem and glad the kitties are no longer bothering the tree.
Thank you 🙂
That’s great that Trouble isn’t bothering the tree! Hopefully, you didn’t speak too soon. Sammy did a good job with the poem for that interesting picture. I’d consider swimming for some gold. 🙂
Thank you 🙂 XO
Yay for you using Aristotle in a poem!! Well done.
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you 🙂 XO
Good Trouble. Heh… Be well!
Thank you, you too 🙂
What good kitties, one less seasonal worry for the peeps – that is a present in itself!
Very true 🙂
That is great news with the tree. They do tend to get bored after a while!
I hope your kitten is behaving too.
Christmastrees are boring, better put a nip tree into the house…or a mouse…MOL 😀 Great poem, so glad the She got rewarderd, that sea looks so wild 😀 ??Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday???
I don’t want to encourage them 🙂
You are a terrific poetess, and it’s good to know that the cats are now ignoring the tree.
Thank you 🙂
We are happy that Trouble is being a good girl with the tree. Mom is very pleased with Timber and Misty too – they have been very good around our tree. Lightning is always a good boy:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Glad you are all behaving- Santa is watching 🙂
LOVE the poem!!! Well done you
Thank you 🙂
Good news for the tree ! Purrs
It is 🙂 XO
Your orange-and-white cat looks like my Willie (who you can see on my blog today). Willie probably outweighed your cat by about ten pounds, though…
I didn’t know you had a cat.
That’s great that everyone is leaving the tree alone.
Thanks, it is 🙂
I’m still astonished that 13 out of 13 cats at your house behave around the Christmas tree. My kitties could take lessons from yours. And your poem is beautiful! I really like how Aristotle played a role in it. What a fun image and rhyme! And I can’t wait to see your fill-ins tomorrow!
Thank you. I look forward to yours too.
Fun poem, i’m glad she was rewarded.
It’s great to hear the cats are bored with the tree and not posing any danger.
Thank you 🙂
Glad to hear the kitties are leaving your tree alone. Now that’s a lot to be thankful for!
Yes, it is 🙂
We wish we had a tree to mess with.
Sorry you don’t 🙁
We hope peace with the tree sticks!
Thanks. Me too 🙂
Yeaa for an intact Chrissymouse tree!
So far 🙂
The Meowing Crew are being so good! They want to be on Santa’s nice list!!! Lovely interesting poem… perfect for the picture!
Thank you 🙂
I’m glad your tree is surviving. I’m sure the tree is glad about that too.
Yes, it is 🙂
