Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
I am thankful that Trouble is behaving with the Christmas tree. Everyone was interested at first, but they got bored with it quickly.
Here is our poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day based on this photo:
She found a message in a bottle
it was a letter signed by Aristotle.
The water looked grim,
but off to the castle she did swim.
The king was happy and rewarded her,
he sent her away with gold and myrhh.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and our co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Oh wow! Love the poem….I wouldn’t mind getting some gold for Christmas – maybe I’ll add that to my list. Not sure about the myrhh though!!! Glad the Christmas tree isn’t exciting enough to climb. Tee Hee

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. That was a terrific poem and I’m sure glad everyone is treating the Christmas Tree nicely! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  3. That’s great that Trouble isn’t bothering the tree! Hopefully, you didn’t speak too soon. Sammy did a good job with the poem for that interesting picture. I’d consider swimming for some gold. 🙂

  4. Christmastrees are boring, better put a nip tree into the house…or a mouse…MOL 😀 Great poem, so glad the She got rewarderd, that sea looks so wild 😀 ??Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday???

  5. We are happy that Trouble is being a good girl with the tree. Mom is very pleased with Timber and Misty too – they have been very good around our tree. Lightning is always a good boy:)

  6. Your orange-and-white cat looks like my Willie (who you can see on my blog today). Willie probably outweighed your cat by about ten pounds, though…

  7. I’m still astonished that 13 out of 13 cats at your house behave around the Christmas tree. My kitties could take lessons from yours. And your poem is beautiful! I really like how Aristotle played a role in it. What a fun image and rhyme! And I can’t wait to see your fill-ins tomorrow!

  8. The Meowing Crew are being so good! They want to be on Santa’s nice list!!! Lovely interesting poem… perfect for the picture!
