Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop

I went to the vet Wednesday because I haven’t been eating much for a few days. I am glad I didn’t need an enema like Brody got last week. I got an anti-nausea shot though.

Mom wrote the poem  for Sammy’s Poetry Day to go with this photo:

Way above the clouds
is where loved ones are waiting
til we meet again
And here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. We also have a new badge designed by the same graphic designer that designed our logo and header. This is a link to his website, Diverse Designing.
When Annie returns, we will have a new one made with all 3 names.
1. It is __________________.

2.The best part of last week was ____________________.

3. Every summer, I _________.
4. Once upon a time, _________.
And don’t forget tomorrow is the  1st Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop hosted by The Cuddlywumps Cat Chronicles.

  1. Emmy, please feel better soon. I am purring and pawyering for you. Dalton adds some waggles, too.

I thought similar thoughts about that picture too, it is a beautiful picture.
When I was very young schoolgirl, (I think I might have been about 14), I saw bright sunbeams coming out of a dark clouded sky…and I penned this:

    Inspiration

I saw the Heavens open once,
    God’s glory was in view.
Twas though a thousand lights were lit,
But God shines bright, I knew.

    Each cloud then slowly disappeared,
And all the Heavens I saw.
Twas then I realized all God does,
    Is done without one flaw.

  2. Emmy you have to eat… tell your Mom you want a Grouper sandwich! (Ick, that sounds awful this early in the morning and I even like Grouper) Sending you “feel better” thoughts right now!
