Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful for all of your kind words of support on my family’s recent loss. I am blessed to have such wonderful friends.

I am also thankful that Trouble’s spay surgery went well. When I picked her up, she didn’t look very good and her tongue was hanging out of her mouth, but she perked up a few hours later. Also thankful that her FELV/FIV test was negative.

She wasted no time stealing her Dad’s chair. She is so affectionate and sweet too, I don’t think Trouble is going to be much trouble.

Here is our poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day. We had to write a poem based on this photo.

Wrinkles and creases
each one could tell a story
of a life well lived.

We are taking the week off from The Friendly Fill-Ins, but we will be back next week. Tomorrow I will be starting the giveaway for all The A-Z Blogging challenge crocheted items. I will divide all the items between 2 winners.

  1. We bet if somebody sliced your Human up and took out all that impawtant stuffs, HER tongue might be lolling out a little bit too! I think you looks very beauteous!
We was sorries to read about her Mama’s partner. We think he’s prolly at the Bridge waitin’ for efurrybody to join him one day. XOXOXO

    1. Very good point about Trouble. Thank you for the condolences, I am sure his many cats met him at The Bridge. XO

  2. How clever of you to be able to write haikus! Our Human doesn’t think She could limit herself to 17 words, let alone 17 syllables (mol).
We are furry glad Trouble’s spay surgery went well. Now she is a fully-fledged member of the Family.
    WELCOME, Little One!

    1. I am sure your human could write a better haiku that I can. XO

  3. Trouble sounds like a sweetie! My human says that as a writer, she uses WORDS to tell the story of her life. She doesn’t need no stinkin’ wrinkles, MOL!

  4. All of us were sad about your family’s loss and we hope that you feel all the hugs we’ve been sending! Your poem is FABULOUS and much like ours in its’ message – Angel Sammy sent us a great photo didn’t he? So happy to hear Trouble got a good blood test AND is recovering from her surgery too. She is so CUTE and I think she will NOT be living up to her name (!!!).

Hugs on HUG YOUR CAT DAY

  7. It’s good to see you back. You were missed. And we continue to send soft pawhugs your way, and to your family too. Trouble, you are endlessly adorable! But it doesn’t sound like she was reallllly ready to be released, if her tongue was lolling. PS: Good work, claiming the chair.
