Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful that my mom and I got to see The Great One ice skate again. She has improved a lot since last time and is much more confident on the ice.

I skipped the poem again.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. _______________________ is the luckiest thing that ever happened to me.
2.________________ is the most unusual item in my refrigerator
3. My _________ is lacking.
4. I have more than enough _________.

  1. Wow, that looks like really skillful ice skating, I’m betting it really was something to see! Looks cold though too, brrr! XO

  2. The Great One does look to be on the ice path to the Olympics! I’m just glad
it is too warm outside, even at our 40’s nights this week, for ice to be on the ground, lol.

    1. Thank you. It is warm here too, but the rink is indoors and it was nice to cool off. XO

  3. She looks confident and comfortable with her pose. I’m glad she’s improving and sticking with it.

  4. How thrilling to be able to see your niece excelling on the ice. Skating is a great confidence builder!

    1. Maybe. When I was taking the videos, her teacher said those are what they show when an Olympian wins. XO

  5. That is a great photo, and we are certain “the great one” was happy to have you and your mom there to cheer her on. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid & Sawyer, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Kizmet, Audrey, Raleigh, Gibbs & Tali

  6. Charlee: “Go, Great One, go! Our Dada used to ice skate for fun all winter when he was a kid but if he had tried to do something like that he would definitely fall down.”

    1. Thank you. I could never ice skate. I was good at roller skating though. 🙂

  7. She looks so good! It’s fun to watch TGO and TM find their way. They have had so many opportunities. The future is theirs to find something that they are passionate about. When they were on roller skates in the kitchen I had to laugh but they did that quite well and with a lot of enthusiasm!
