Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful for more time with Penny. Thank you all for the purrs, prayers and tail wags. I am thankful to all the saints I have been praying to especially St. Francis and St. Michael. I wore these 2 bracelets to the vet clinic. The blue one is a St. Michael and the other was blessed with water from Lourdes and given to me by my dear friend, Pam (Teddy’s Mom).

And here is a photo of Penny on her dad’s lap on vet day. The cell phone gets a better photo of her beautiful eyes than my camera does.

Today is Z day for The A-Z Blogging Challenge

Z is for zoo and it feels like one around here living with 12 cats. Z is also for Zoe, Typhoid Mary’s real name.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. When I need to make a tough decision, I ______________________.
2. If I were a dance, I would be a ______________.
3. _________ is my current life motto.
4. _________ is the best part of being an adult, and _________ is the worst part.

  1. Such happy news about Penny! And a lovely picture of her gorgeous eyes indeed! Ha, zoo is a good description of our home too! And I do like the name Zoe! XO

  2. Oh, Zoe is one of mama’s favorite names!!! And yes, those lovely Penny eyes show up so well on papa’s lap. Such a darling. Savor every minute. TWELVE???? I think we lost count somewhere along the way….WOW, you are a saint. So lovely to have the bracelets…

  3. We’re pulling for sweet and brave Penny. She absolutely wants to be a member of your family for as long as possible! She’s strong – and LOVE is the best reason to STAY instead of flying off. I’m glad you wore those bracelets – every little bit helps. Always. AND having faith can pull us through a lot of sadness.

    Love and Hugs, Pam

  4. Aww, such good news about Penny and she has beautiful gold eyes. I love the name, Zoe. You’re a wonderful person to give 12 cats a good home.

  5. Penny is my hero. So are you and your husband for having her and all of her siblings and loving them.

  6. Aww,m Penny looks so brave and sweet sitting on her Dad’s lap. Wilson and I continue to send ‘pawsitive’ healing thoughts to her. Love the bracelets…clearly there’s a lot of power in them.

  7. I don’t think I have ever seen Penny’s cute face this close up. Agreed that she has beautiful eyes. Also an adorable little nose and tiny sweet ears. The bracelets are a good idea. Thoughtful gift from Pam. Penny has some fight in her and for that we are thankful. Hanging on to faith, hope and prayers for her. Z for Zoe!

  8. Charlee: “That St. Francis is a good one, blessing us animals all the time.”
Oona: “You look very cozy bundled up for your car trip, Penny. Oona has heard that her first car trip when she was very smol was kind of like that, although she does not remember it.”

  9. That is a most wonderful thankful and we’ve been praying for your sweet Penny and we won’t stop. More purrs and prayers coming! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We always put a rosequartz near to our babies, when they are ill, they bring the Angels near to protect them.
