Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful that my mom and I got to spend Sunday with all three kids.  We made these pet ghosts in jars. And there was another half day on Wednesday, so we had the girls. We went to the grocery store and they give kids free cookies in the bakery section and they gave me one too.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. My plans for October include __________ and __________________________.
2. Sometimes it is easier to _________________than _______________________.
3. I didn’t mean to _________, but it turned out that way.
4. I’d rather deal with a haunted _________ than a haunted _________.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 The ghosts were from Amazon- a pack of 3. All the kids had to do was stick the stickers on for the faces. And put the handles on. They usually give only to kids under 12 here too, but I guess she could tell I am mentally under 12. 🙂 XO

  1. I’m glad you and your mom got to spend time with the three kids. The pet ghosts in the jars are too cute. Wow, free cookies!😋

  3. Oh gosh, mom said she remembered when my human brothers all got cookies at the grocery store.
Some of the ladies fell in love with the first baby brother, with his Shirley Temple mass of curls. So he sometimes got two. The youngest also had those kind of curls. The middle had waves.

    1. I got a kit from Amazon that made 3 ghosts. All the kids had to do was add the sticker faces and put the handle on. xo

  4. When my girls were young they got free cookies at the store, too. I’m glad you got time to spend with the kids! … Those little ghosts in jars are so cute! 🙂

  5. That sounds like such a fun and heartwarming week! Spending time with the kids making pet ghosts in jars sounds adorable — such a perfect October craft! And how sweet that the bakery gave you a cookie too — little surprises like that make the day even better. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s Friendly Fill-Ins tomorrow; those prompts are great for getting into the autumn and Halloween spirit!
