Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful my mom and I got to go watch The Great One at her ice-skating lesson. It was so nice and cold there, I can never be too cold. And I got to visit with The Boy while we were there ( Typhoid Mary was at soccer practice).  I was above the ice, behind plexiglass so I only got this shot of her with her instructor.

And here is our poem for Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day to go with this photo prompt.

Another stupid human lost their phone.
I will consider it on-loan.
I promise to give it back soon.
I just need to get100 cases of bananas sent to this lagoon.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. It’s impossible to ______________ when you _______________.
2. ______________ is great until ________________.
3. I wish I could solve the mystery of _________.

4. _________ is one of the creepiest _________ I’ve ever encountered.

  1. That’s a totally hilarious poem – imagine finding a magical device that would deliver your favorite food like magic! LOL Great job…………….The Great One may be the next big STAR on ice!

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam

  2. Laughed right off my chair over that poem!!!! MERCI for a smile and great fill-in possibles. So happy for those nieces who are going to be multi-taskers and do-ers, that’s for sure. Mama loved ice-skating but now…..uh,oh…..

    1. Glad you got a laugh. Thank you. 🙂 I could never ice skate, I used to like roller skating. XO

  3. I enjoy the cold too, and how nice your mom got to watch The Great One at her ice-skating lesson. That is a very cute poem.

  4. LOVE that first caption!

Love that you were able to watch The Great One skating. After a summer of pizza oven temps, it must have been wonderful to be in the ice arena.

  5. Oh that poem is hilarious! You’re so clever, girl. 🙂 You better not leave your phone unattended with your felines about.

  6. Absolutely loved your poem! Tomorrow’s fill-ins look super hard. Even if the kitties help, I am not too certain I’ll get them done. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona & Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh

  7. What fun you get to be with these kids for things like practices and games. They will always remember how much interest you take in them and love you for it.

    I really enjoyed your poem!
