Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. Thank you for funny captions yesterday. I love to see what everyone comes up with.

Today (9/25) is the birthday of two wonderful ladies that I am thankful to call friend. Please be sure to wish Teddy’s mom, Pam and Katie Isabella’s mom, Carole a happy birthday.

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful for half days. There was one on Tuesday so my mom and I got to spend a few hours with the girls. And I am thankful The Boy sneezed out the bead. Funny story, my niece got a call from the Boy’s preschool that he put a bead in his nose and they couldn’t get it out. She took him to rapid care and he sneezed it out while waiting for the appointment.  He was quite proud of himself.

And here is our poem for Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day to go with this adorable prompt.

Listen to the lovely music we make.
All you need now is some birthday cake.
Happy Birthday to Carole and Pam!
Hope you enjoyed hearing us jam.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. I will never eat __________ again.
2. I would like a taste of _______________.
3. I’m oddly fascinated by ________.
4. It would probably be wise if I _________, but I instead _________.

    1. No feather, but my niece had tried blowing in the other nostril as they suggested so it may have loosened it. 🙂 XO

  1. WOW – first of all thank heavens that bead was sneezed out! YIKES. Kids do the darndest things huh? Secondly THANK YOU AGAIN for the birthday wishes – I am so thankful for all the wonderful friends I have and their kindness in wishing me a happy day (which it has been so far!). The poem you did for the froggy orchestra was PERFECT – isn’t that a great photo and I agree with you – next week’s is JUST AS GREAT.

    Love and Hugs, Pam

  2. Half days can be a parent’s nightmare, I’m very glad you and your mom stand ready to get the kids when they come along.

Let’s hope The Boy doesn’t decide it was such a good performance he needs to reprise it.

Your poem is excellent and I wish many happy returns of the day to Ms. Pam and Ms. Carole!

  3. Holy Cow! MY mom said that she KNOWS that kind of thing. Her three boys were a mess growing up.

  6. Happy Birthday to your friends!
I’m happy everything ended well for Boy after getting a bead stuck up his nose. Kids do the darnedest things!

  7. What a cute birthday poem. And what is it with boys putting things up their noses? I’m glad things turned out okay; some items turn deadly. Best wishes and hugs, my dear.
