Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Dusty is thankful that her eye is better. I am thankful that my mom and I will be with the kids all day and it is supposed to be cooler.

Here is my poem for Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day to go with this fun prompt.

Yes, yes you can have my bed all to yourself.
And I’ll take the blame when you knock stuff off a shelf.
Just hurry and get the doggy biscuits to me
before our mom comes in for her tea.

    Its a wee bit cooler here right now, too, though the humidity is still very high. We had a good rain yesterday…

    Fun poem for a funny photo. Had a short burst of rain late yesterday
    but the heat is still in the mid 90’s again today.

  7. I’m so glad Dusty is better and your poem is just right! The cat will blame the dog anyway, so the dog might as well get something for it.

  8. I am glad Dusty’s eye is better, and love your poem. Callie had her annual yesterday, and is a healthy girl! I love our mobile vet, and Callie seems very comfortable with her, too.

    1. Lately my main focus is on my back/hip area OW OW OW.
    2. I crave potato chips. Even the less salted ones are scrumptious. But they aren’t good for you.
    3. I get my best ideas while waiting for sleep to come and get me. Wish I remembered in the morning.
    4. I only trust my DIL with my biggest secrets. And Katie.

    Yes, the high heat has moved along, yet the temps are still above average here.
    Manny is very happy that the window a/c unit is off; he really doesn’t like that noise.

    thankful today we had a bit of a cold front come thru last night dropped rain on some places not here but it did DROP the overnight tempearture.
