Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that I got to spend time with The Great One and Typhoid Mary last Friday. When Typhoid Mary and I were playing with Barbies in her room, she had Alexa play some music. One of the songs was this:
I like that song. I feel like I have never grown up. After that, she asked Alexa to play fart sounds and I was surprised that Alexa complied. I will spare you those sounds. 🙂
Here is my poem for Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day .
They had roast chicken for dinner and didn’t share
not even when I gave them the stare.
Won’t they be surprised when there is none left.
They will never blame me for the theft.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. I have trouble pronouncing ___________________.
2. I tend to confuse _____________ with _______________.
3. I quit _________ because _________.
4. Currently, I can’t get ________ out of my mind.
Ahahaha! Sounds like the good times are rollin’ ! XO
Yes, they are. XO
We LOVE that song! We can see you singing it now! Can we do duets?
Keep being awesome! Barb

Fun times with your ‘girls’! I am going to be a great Aunt too, come sometime in October…OMC!!!
That poem is purrfect!
Congrats! That is exciting news. XO
Sounds like you had a great time with the girls! Love the poem.
I did. Thank you. 🙂 XO
What a great photo of the cat in the fridge and the poem brings a happy smile to my face!
I was in the Dollar tree yesterday and bought two tiny Barbies. They are maybe 2 inches tall.
They had 4 to chose from. I need my toys too, lol.
Pam finds fun photo prompts. I need to go to Dollar Tree. I know Typhoid Mary would like those. I am glad you are a kid at heart too. XO
I’m glad you got to spend time with the girls, and I love the song and your poem.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
MOL thanks for only sharing one song! We LOVE your poem.
Thank you. 🙂
How dare the humans NOT give some roasted chicken to their felines?
They deserve this theft!
I agree. 🙂
You’re just a kid at heart!
Thank you. 🙂 I am.
Charlee: “Our Dada says that in HIS day, when they wanted to make fart noises, they had to use a whoopee cushion. Whatever that is.”
Chaplin: “Sounds like a struggle.”
Java Bean: “Ayyy, Mama and Dada never share roast chicken with any of us, either!”
MOL! 🙂 You need to sneak into the fridge. 🙂
I never have had roasted chicken, speaking of that good poem you made
Thank you. 🙂 XO

Me too. And no, she did not. XO
Alexa really isn’t too discerning in what she plays.
No, she is not. 🙂
Sounds like you had a fun day. Cute poem!
Thank you. 🙂
Fun poem and song. Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is an option, and it is always easier to keep from growing up if you do not have kids! XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
Thank you. Very true. 🙂 XO
Fun time with the kids. Love the poem!

Those were fun thankfuls today! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you. 🙂
Don’t grow up, it’s a trap!
I know- I won’t. 🙂
Fart sounds… that’s worth checking out but we don’t have Alexa because we think she has snooping on her mind. Ellen, I don’t want you to grow up! I want you to nurture your inner child. That’s what I am doing.
Hahaha!… that little cute leggie thief! I did not at first see the furry accomplice.
Yes, Alexa is nosy. I am surprised my niece lets the girls each have one in their room for music. No worries- I will never grow up. 🙂 XO
