Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that I got to spend time alone with Typhoid Mary. She really enjoyed having all my attention and I enjoyed giving her all my attention.

Also, thankful I found a place that cleans braided rugs at a reasonable price. I called one place, and it was $600. I could buy a new one for a little more than that. This other place has been in business for 40 years and it will only be a little over $100 plus they pick up and deliver for free.

This is a shot of Angel Prancie playing on the rug.

I skipped the poem because the photo had monkeys and I can’t think of anything funny about monkeys. They just plain creep me out.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Wow that sure is a big price difference on the rug cleaning. Adorable picture of Angel Prancie. I’m glad you had a good time with Typhoid Mary. XO

  2. That is a huge difference in price! The expensive one deserves to go out of business. I dislike monkeys too. Many years ago possibly before we were married, a safari park opened and we decided to make a day trip of it. The car in front was suddenly covered with monkeys who pulled the windscreen wipers off and tried to pull of the door handles too. We quickly turned around and went back out through the emergency exit.
That is a sweet flashback of Angel Prancie.

  3. I have one braided rug and it’s in the cat room. It’s about 30 years old and still beautiful in a worn way. The cats think it’s a scratching post.

  4. Awww, Angel Prancie♥ Definitley happy doing a cat dance. She could “cut a rug” … cracking myself up!
Those braided rugs are the best for handling wear and tear and holding up. I miss my braided rugs that I left at the house when we sold it in 2018.
    Monkeys creep me out too!
    Good Morning, Meowing Crew!
