Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful to all of you for your comforting words and prayers for Elvira. I am truly blessed to have gotten to be her mom. She was a sweet and gentle soul.

I am also thankful I got this adorable photo of her. A lot of photos I take end up with laser eyes, so I am glad her beautiful eyes are visible here.

And I got a video of her enjoying her cat grass.

I skipped the poem for this week.

I skipped the last day of  The A-Z Blogging Challenge, My Z was zealous. I think you would all agree I am zealous with Christmas decorating.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. I ____________ but not ________________.
2. Just because I __________ doesn’t mean ___________________.
3. Am I the only one who _________?
4. I used to _________, but then I learned _________.

    1. Thank you. It is nice to have photos and videos of our loved ones that have left us. That was sweet of your mum to send a card. XO

  2. I am glad you got to film Elvira, and that last picture of her is so sweet. She truly was enjoying the cat grass!
Your kindess to her and Friday in being their new forever family was an amazing feat, and it was rewarded by two years of sweetness and love in return.

  3. I am glad you have those lovely photos and video of Elvira, and were able to enjoy two years together.

  4. Oh, Ms E, we know so well your sadness. And we loved the cat grass nibbling and a video of lovely Ervira. Thank you for letting us see her beautiful eyes, too. Thinking of you and your family…sending more snuggles for your kitty family as they are sad, too.

  5. Elvira had a wonderful “end of life” with you Ellen…..how lucky she was to have a home after her Daddy passed away that took such special care of her. Love the video of her enjoying her grass – our yard is Teddy’s favorite grazing spot and he eats grass out there every day!

    Hugs, Pam

  6. Wonderful video of Elvira enjoying her grass in her cat tree cup! She had 2 wonderful safe years with you. If you had not gone thru such hoops to get her across the country with those lovely ladies, who knows how her life would have gone.
It is a good thing to have something to be zealous about. And the Christmas season is one of the best.

  7. Elvira’s video was so sweet and I could hear how much she enjoyed the grass.
She was lucky to have you and I know you felt like you were extra lucky to have her
    Hugs Cecilia

  11. She was a doll. Thank you for giving her a good few years. Hugs, my dear. And, oh those fill-ins seem very interesting. I look forward to your take. Best wishes!
