Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
I am thankful that I will be spending time with the girls on Thursday and Friday and I got to see them on Monday.
The stuffies are happy the clinic will be open- they are already lining up.
We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day. And here is the photo prompt provided:
Let’s get something straight,
all you kids have to wait.
I am having a lot of fun
and I am nowhere near done.
Today is P day on The A-Z Blogging Challenge. P is for penguins. Most of these penguins were my nieces except for the big one. She was decluttering so I offered to take them. So much for my decluttering. 🙂
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. A remake of _______________________ would be fun.
2. My favorite cartoon character is _________________.
3. I wish I had better _________ skills so that I could _________.
4. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made with _________.
4. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made with _________.
Glad you’re getting lots of fun times with the girls, they grow up so fast! Cute picture and funny poem by you! I’ve never had anything pop into my head for the full ins, but just now for number 3. I thought, I wish I had better computer skills so I could function more easily in the modern world. Hahaha. XO
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, they are growing up way too fast. You and me both for the computer skills. XO
Dearest Ellen,
Look at that smiling doggy—regardless its missing ‘arm’.
We often can learn from our pets.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
Thank you. 🙂 How funny, I didn’t even notice the missing arm. I hope it was just cropped out. XO
That is a sweet poem, funny, too!!
That sure is a large penguin!! Years ago a little boy had trouble saying my name, so he called me penguin, Tee-hee! (I have no idea how Ingrid sounds like penguin, LOL!)
Thank you. 🙂 That is a cute story. XO
Good job on the poem! That pup’s smile says it all……….
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Thank you. 🙂 XO
That is a good poem. Enjoy your time with the girls.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
We can see that the health clinic will be very busy when the girls get there. Here I am very thankful that the tornado siren that ran for an hour at 5:00 last night only brought us two inches of rain and no tornado.
Thank you. 🙂 That must have been scary. Glad it passed you. XO
OH my! I don’t see Happy at the clinic in the line….
Happy had the day off. 🙂 XO
Have fun with the girls and that is a cute poem and a cute puppy.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
You’re welcome, Ellen.
That pupper definitely looks like swinging is fun!
Good poem.
Thank you. 🙂
That clinic is furry popular.
It is, it is the only one in the area and rarely open. XO
OM Cats 3 times with the Girls that is fantastic. I hope the Stuffie clinic goes well.
Well done on the poem Ellen
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. 🙂 Actually 4 because I am going to their softball and tennis games Saturday. XO
That pup is the cutest and I think the poem telling the kids they would just have to wait is GREAT! The stuffies are smart to get in line. I think the clinic will be busy!
I think penguins make a great addition to Christmas decor.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Chaplin: “Oh, man, Dennis would have just loved having all those stuffies lined up for him like that. Although I’m not sure the kind of clinic he would’ve run would be exactly what they had in mind …”
Hmmm..maybe he would have had a deconstructing one. 🙂
Once they’re in the swing they never want to get out, just like kids…MOL…We love the penguins. Granny got one, a stuffed one, for our twofeet when he was still little, it was almost twice his size😹We had a MOL on your poem 😀 Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day🐾😽💞
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Enjoy your time with the girls. I bet they keep you young.
Thank you. 🙂 Young, but exhausted. XO
Wagnificent poetry! And as a collector of penguins, there is no such thing as penguin clutter. LOL 🐧
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Fun poem ~ well done ~ love the penguin clinic ~ hugs,

Thank you. 🙂 We had fun. XO
The furry lovely dog is someone’s kid so therefore is perfectly in order :-). Thanks for the fill-ins – We’ll come up with something. xo
I look forward to your answers. 🙂 XO

Woos – Misty and Timber
Thank you. We wish we could help them.
I love penguins! I have quite a few myself. Many years ago I went to the Montreal Biodome and seeing the penguins was the highlight of my trip.
That does sound fun. 🙂
