Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Rosie is thankful that I gave in and got the electric blanket out for her and Joanie. She thanks you all for harassing me to do it. It is the gray blanket, but I put another over it just in case someone yacks.

And The Potato Heads are happy to have a new tater in the family.

He was only $1.50 ( Walmart clearance).

They are all living happily in the castle with Elsa, Anna, Kristof and a bunch of ghosts.  Yes, I am a bit crazy. 🙂

I skipped the poem again. If I can’t think of something funny , I skip it.

Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. I may ___________________________, but I _____________________________.

2. I keep forgetting that _________________________.
3. This time of year, _________ is my favorite treat to enjoy.

  1. I think Rosie looks like she’s happy to have that electric blanket finally! Looks like you’d better consider building an extension on that castle – it’s getting a bit crowded……

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. Certainly nothing crazy about having some fun Whimsy around the house. Sure brightens the day when the weather is not good too. Glad the girls have their electric blanket back and get their little tootsies warm.

  3. Charlee: “Ooh, an electric blanket! We have never experienced that, although we do have a couple of heated cat cups around.”
Chaplin: “And they are all mine!”
    Charlee: “That’s what YOU think.”
Oona: “Oona enjoys the heated cat cups. She also enjoys the top of Dada’s receiver which is usually nice and warm.”
    Chaplin: “That is also mine.”
Oona: “Oona is more than willing to fight you for it.”
    Charlee: “You tell him, Oona!”

    1. You are too sweet. Thank you. The girls hate the potato heads and always evict them. 🙂 XO

  5. We are kindred spirits, my friend. I’ll have to share updates on my haunted dollhouse. lol And hurray for warm blankies! Ours got unplugged somehow (thinks of Terra and Polly zooming around… Hmmm…) but I discovered it while vacuuming and their elder, Dandelion, will probably be thankful. I look forward to your fill-in, my dear. Be well!

  6. rosie N joanie, we came over thiz way coz R commintz knot werkin de other way….we hope yur mom rememburrz that itz de LAW that cat blankitz must be out bye octoberz 12th….💙🐟‼️🕷

  7. The Mews: We dont have much concern with the blankets. The house is always between 68-72F and the waterybed is heated above than slightly. Which we appreciate. And we are very careful not ta yak on the bed since we sleep there a lot.

TBT: Virtually everything here is 100% cotton (towels, sheets, blankets, clothes) because I really have a static-shock problem. But the cotton blanket sure seems to grab claws and is a bit heavy. So from Spring to Fall, I have a lighter blanket of some artificial stuff.

November to March, I have that cotton one on the bed. The Mews don’t like it, but they (and I) hate the static shocks when I stroke them even more.
