Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful that I was able to be there to take photos for The Great One and Typhoid Mary on their first days of school even if it meant getting up at 6 am two days.

I took photos of my niece’s first day from preschool through college and I hope to do the same for them and the boy too.

I brought Lola ( the little toy cat Typhoid Mary keeps building things for) , you can see her in TM’s shirt pocket.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

This is lots of fun-yippeee!
Uh-oh! My brudder is after me.
How come we are not going anywhere?
That is OK, I don’t care.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. What a great idea taking photos of “first day at school” for the kids. Memories for them one day to share with THEIR kids! Love your poem too – pandas are like great big stuffed animals. You just want to give them a great big hug!

    Love, Pam

  2. THAT was a loving and a delightful thing to do for the girls and the Boy. I love the idea and wish to goodness I had thought of it too! Best ever idea!!!
I can’t see my comments any more, so I am still hoping that somehow they made it.

  3. Oona: “Oona could have ridden around in a shirt pocket when she was very smol! Well, almost.”
    Chaplin: “Giddy-up, panda!”
Charlee: “We like pandas because they dress the same way we do.”

  4. That’s wonderful with the first day photos and that’s a cute TM shirt. Really fun poem too. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  5. I have been missing the fill in’s. I really miss everyone. But I will be back tomorrow to answer them. Your poem is so sweet. Love all the photos you share here and the fur babies telling their stories too.
