Friendly Fill-Ins Week 380

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

My answers:
1. Spoil your cat (s).
2. My plans for September include being present when my niece scatters her mother’s ( my sister’s) ashes on the 1-year anniversary of her passing and finally getting some much-needed painting done in our house.
3. Walmart grocery pickup has made my life easier. I love not having to navigate the store and make chit chat with people. 🙂
4. The bridge construction in my town really complicates things. They are going to be rerouting traffic by our house soon.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback photo is of Angel KaTwo back in 2018.

  1. KaTwo was aww-worthy!🥰❤️

    1. Embrace your loved ones, often.
    2. My plans for September include working and trying to get my laptop keyboard fixed. (its making extra letters or missing them altogether…and it IS a known problem…so I need to make an appt to have it looked at and repaired as a recall has been put out for my model and some others as well. sigh…
    3. Having a ‘puter savvy hubby and sons has made my life easier since they can give me advice when I need it.
    4. The many road construction projects in and around our city really complicates things, since we have to take long detours due to removed bridges and closed roads. Our trip to church is in the same boat with a major project taking almost three years instead of one, due to supply chain issues, COVID and lack of workers…

    1. Thank you for these great answers. I agree with #1. My keyboard has a lot of the letters rubbed off. 🙂 XO

  2. We have a similar pick-up thingy here called Drive. I order online and pay and my honey goes to pick up at a selected hour. INCREDIBLE saving of time and money and energy. And we are sending you hugs for your niece and you. A very sad loss, but the darling little girls and boy carry on……

  3. Since the start of the pandemic I got all my groceries etc. delivered. I have no desire to going back to getting my own shopping.
    Lovely photo of Angel KaTwo.

  4. Sending extra big hugs on the anniversary of losing your sister……We are still grocery shopping – but we know lots of people order online and pick up or have their orders delivered. Time saver!

    Hugs, Pam

  5. Traffic reroute? If it means all the normal traffic that normally goes elsewhere is going to pass by you, that will be dangerous and noisy. Hope it is not long lived. Painting, it is a chore I will no longer do, so the colors I have inside will stay the same. But 2 people and a cat pretty much mean it is clean, just boring, lol.

    1. Yes, exactly what it means. It is going to be risky trying to pull out of our driveway. XO

  6. Angel KaTwo is looking epic in todays flashback! Great fill-ins, and we send mew oodles of hugs for your sisters first angel anniversary. We’ve got lots of painting still to do at BBHQ, though it keeps getting put off due to the weather!

  7. Charlee: “We are 100% in favor of spoiling cats.”
Chaplin: “And we send lots of purrs your way on the upcoming anniversary of your sister’s passing.”
Lulu: “Our Dada used the online grocery shopping during the pandemic, but he’s back to shopping in person now. Apparently it’s one of the few things that reliably gets him out of the house …”
Oona: “Why would Dada want to leave the house when that is where Oona is?!”

    1. Thank you. I don’t like to leave the house because I want to spend as much time with my cats too. XO

    My Fill-Ins-
    1. Let your quirkiness shine if you have the quirky thing going on.
    2. My plans for September include avoiding hurricanes and trying to have a hurricane free birthday.
    3. Not having to wear a mask has made my life easier. Fingers crossed we don’t have to go back to that.
    4. Peak of hurricane season in September really complicates things.
    Thanks, Ellen

    1. Thank you for your kind words and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I definitely have the quirky thing going on. I hope you stay safe from the hurricanes and have a wonderful birthday- celebrate all month. XO

  10. Bridge construction here is making an awful mess, too, and it hasn’t really even started, they’re trying to figure out where to build it. Talk about arguments!

Angel KaTwo is beautiful, thank you for joining Feline Friday!

  11. What a sweet image of KaTwo. I cannot believe it’s been six years since my mother passed away. My heart goes out to you, my dear. ~hugs~
