Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
I am thankful that my mom and I got to watch all 3 kids on Monday. I was rocking the boy with a bottle to get him to nap and The Great One started singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star over the baby monitor. It brought tears to my eyes, in a good way, not the kind of tears my singing would bring. I wish I could have recorded it.
Also thankful for sprinkles- they make everything better.
And I am thankful for our friend that shared his broccoli bounty with us.
We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day. And here is the photo prompt provided:
As you may have already guessed
a staycation with hubby and kids made me stressed.
So, I said I was going to the store.
Now, I can relax and have a s’more.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

Watching all 3 kiddos must have been very entertaining! When the baby visits your house, what does Joanie think? Does she enjoy visiting with him just as much as The Great One and Typhoid Mary? I just love how much she enjoys her visits with the girls. And the lady in your poem is a smart one! Purrs!
Joamie doesn’t like the boy, but Rosie does if his sisters are not around. XO
Your story about watching the children made me smile, my dear. ~hugs~ And your poem made me laugh. 😀 Best wishes to you and yours.
